My PC is 7 years old (Ryzen 7 1700 and NVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB). Diablo 4 used to run fast on high details before the Vessel of Hatred expansion was added. Now I get such massive slowdowns that latency (press Ctr+R) often jumps to 1700ms. Mobs suddenly appear all around and framerate is even very low on the lowest detail settings that I could set. Same hardware. Diablo 4 I always had running using an HDD.

A better way to change your priority is in the registry. The best way to do this for those of you who want the easiest highest performing path is by using process lasso. That program hans MANY benefits to support performance in gaming. There are other motherboard tweaks you can do, but that is to much for most. Mainly the issues are NOT with the user. I have seen this game run on nearly max settings on a gtx 980 at 144 fps at ALL TIMES. Blizzard has some terrible people who have taken over programming updates as of late. Its really sad to see this amazing piece of art being destroyed by equity hires.

I crash or freeze the game mostly when using the portal back to town or doing things in town in my inventory. so stupid!

World boss battles are unplayable with a lot of players near. I dont think the game is very well optimized.

@steveozone4910 Yes, true. D4 is still buggy and unoptimized in so many places... that's why I'm upset about another expac at this point. They really should fix the base game first before bringing in an expansion.

Bro I have high end specs and that shit doesn’t run well I can run any other game I play on ultra settings but this game doesn’t matter if I use the Lowest settings there’s lag
