Bro i was a Hutao main from a very long time with a well built C1R1 triple crown hutao, and then I got Arlechino and let me tell you Arlechino is currently the best Pyro dps in the game imo.

On top of that, Arlecchino is one of the most flexible dps characters rn. Hu Tao shines in vape and plunge teams but that's where it stops. Whereas Arlecchino is a beast in vape, overload, monopyro, hypercarry and melt. She synergises so well with so many characters that it's actually insane.

Rosaria/Kaeya are by far better than Charlotte energy-wise and damage wise tbh. Specifically because of their battery capabilities. They’re just not onfielders

As a 2 year ganyu main, top 2% in akasha with normal everyday build, I can say proudly that ayaka is better T^T

But ayaks isn't f2p friendly bro. She needs her weapon (r5 amenoma isn't that good, it just lowers the er requirements that's all) She also needs a grouper. (Sucrose won't do much, you need kazuha) And you will also need a good cryo applicant like mona or kokomi. (Needs healer like diona if you mona) Ganyu's bis artifact set is Wanderer's troupe. Her bis weapon is available in standard banner. She doesn't need a specific team like ayaka I have both ayaka and ganyu Ayaka does more dmg, if you are f2p and don't have kokomi or kazuha, Don't pull on ayaka.

Xiao is clearly better now than Wanderer after Xianyun. They were already competitive before 4.0 but the addition of Furina and Xianyun made Xiao significantly better, while so far Wanderer hasn't gotten any buffs from new characters. People who deny this are biased. Sure we can argue again once Wanderer has better supports in the future but currently it's Xiao.

Arlecchino better for a few reasons. a) Tao is heavily reliant on her Skill, and her skill gives her the infusion she wants for only 7 or so seconds. While said dmg output she gives in that time frame is good, Arlecchino can have pyro infusion forever even off combat. b) Tao uses charged attack, while Arle uses Normal Attack. Given hpw Tao used CA and is slingshotted in a direction you may not wanna go and moreoften than not, hitting a single target, Arle can stay stationary and hit AoE. While their DMG output can be super similar, AoE and being able to not consume stamina is better c) Like with what you said on Xiao, Tao wants either deathmatch or one of the 5 star weapons (or Dragons bane), and will then need to find a way to balance her kit in HP, Crit, ATK and EM, whereas Arle can use White tassel as a f2p and is easier to build, just having to focus on ATK and Crit and maybe a lil bit of EM. This is just my opinion, and i have both. Arle at c1r1 and tao at c0r2. And my Arle hits a lot harder than Tao and im so glad i got her

My Arlecchino isn't fully built yet but she did stand a chance in the Spiral Abyss. Not completed it yet but still, she's very strong and much easier to use.

Not entirely, if you have Fischl or Yae Miko as your battery, you can have Razor constantly have his ult up which will give him constant Electro infusion with his attacks.

Imo yanfei is the best 4 star pyro dps i stead of gaming. Shes has almost the same mechanics with klee with CA and imo that makes her easier to use, she also very and i mean very op in vape and burgeon teams because of her C4 shield and C6 extra dmg. I'd recommend her to players who want to use her easily like the neuvi and childe situation.

I can't watch this video without having criticism, no hate. 1. You deciding cryo dps is a no brainer, while when it came to neuvilette vs childe you had a hard time, first of all, cryo has more competition, like ayaka and wriothesley, wriothesley can deal consistent big damage, and so does ayaka, so does ganyu, the decision of the best cryo dps comes to the person and what playstyle they want, ganyus win is not by a LANDSLIDE, because if were talking about who can dish out more cryo dps, rather than who can deal more consistent cryo dps? Wriotheley and ayaka might beat ganyu. And about neuvilette and childe, childe is sometimes even used as a support for xiangling because of how fast he applies hydro, childe kinda needs a specific team just like the childe national team, just for him to shine, while neuvilette can deal damage on his own and he can deal A LOT, he can literally solo 12-3 of abyss, im not sure if childe can do that without reactions or even a team, so best hydro 5 star dps is a NO BRAINER, and this comparison is a LANDSLIDE, unlike the comparison of ayaka wrio and ganyun 2. Electro dps, razor?? yes beidou is mostly used as a support, she can be built as an off field, but if we're taking about ELECTRO dps? Its obviously beidou, FIRST, beidou even as an off field support can dish out MUCH MORE electro damage than razor, who's build is mostly physical, even as an off field or on field beidou deals much more, heck, fischl deals more than razor when it comes to dishing out ELECTRO damage 3. Cryo 4 star dps, Charlotte? So you make charlotte an option for being the best cryo dps EVEN THOUGH SHES A SUPPORT, while beidou is basically just an "off field dps?" Thats just a no, Rosaria can dish out a lot of damage, with reverse melt, using xiangling and bennett rosaria and an extra character. Rosaria can even work as mona omen freezs team, she can be substituted for ayaka, while for charlotte, you need STRONG supports and sub dps just for her to deal damage, yes i"ve seen some dps charlotte builds that can deal a lot of damage, but come on, if were talking about cryo dps, its obviously rosaria or chongyun, if you pair them with melt they can deal a ton of damage, MORE, than charlotte

It's aight. No hate taken. It's just that there's lots of opinions around and I've kept seeing both sides bark over who is better than the other especially in Reddit. I relied on close friends to help me out and they provide me with their builds and accounts but I guess I was following their opinions. (One is a MAJOR Razor main too). I'll update this video when Natlan comes around since there will be lots of new characters in the roster and more weapons and artifacts by that time. Thx for the criticism.

Yeah, agree with point 1. For point 2 I assume he was trying to go for on fielder, but just like he discarded Freminet for being Physical, he should've discarded Razor for the same reason. Razor is either built as Physical (his intended playstyle) or as a Burgeon driver with C6 Bennett. Never seen him much as an aggravate DPS, especially because his electro damage is based on his Physical damage from his normals, so it's not very optimal. That said, I'd not go for Beidou if we're talking about on fielders exclusively. I'd go for either Lisa or C6 Dori (that kid can be a beast). And for point 3, if using Chong's cryo infusion on someone else counts, then Kaya was quite the budget Ayaka.

Itto, Chiori (not Albedo), Zhongli and Gorou is Itto's best team. Xiao is noticebly stronger than wandewrer now that we have Xianyun. Ganyu being the best by a landslide hasn't been a thing since version 2.0, the community as a whole decided she fell off and Ayaka was the better one. This video feels a bit outdated.

I have C1 R1 Wanderer and C0 R1 Xiao and I gotta say Xiao is better. He has better AOE, his best team (which I have) is fully offensive but still has defensive and CC options, whereas Wanderer needs to make a sacrifice for defense unless you have C4 Jean, and I have them on very similar builds (10/8/8 with 90/180 cv 120% er) but Xiao does consistently more damage.

For the 4-Star Cryo DPS, I think it's just between Chongyun and Rosaria. They both have two teams which is reverse melt and freeze while Charlotte only sticks with Mona. Both characters have no ICD on their burst so they can trigger melt anytime. Rosaria has higher damage with melt than Chongyun but overall, I think Chongyun takes the spot as he needs only 40 energy while rosaria has 60. On top of that C2 Chongyun gives the team -15% CD reduction which results in his team rotation faster than any team in the game. 40 energy cost with 10 second cooldown burst sets the bar high. I still respect your opinion being that mona is great for freeze!

Having Hu tao and Arlecchino, i will pick Arlecchino based in my experience she was easy to play unlike hu tao need to master Jump Cancel mechanics and She doesn't work outside in vaporize comps. Arlecchino is best pyro DPS

Personally Arlecchino does around 50% more damage with the same build or the same constellations than Hu Tao. Same with Cryo, both Rosaria and Kaeya do more damage than Charlotte..

I do think you are underselling Noelle, Tighnari and not even mentioning Lynney. Though i still mostly agree with your placements. Noelle isn’t a 4star Itto. Noelle heals the team and shields herself and does it great. She is both the defensive and offensive slot in the team. Which allows for 3 supports/sup-DPS’s. Noelle Furina core teams are actually very strong. You can go albedo, gorou or gorou and Yelan. Tighnari has downtime in his quick burst. There are 2 electro sup dps’s that many people dont like for their longer on field time: Yea Miko and Lisa. Both are great pairings with this furry eared bow user. Lynney has higher theoretical damage than Hu Tao. However, you need to play him perfectly. Which is very hard to do when you run kaz instead of Zhong. Overal, interesting takes and it was a fun watch. Sad my mains got disrespected 😂

It's ok. I main Tighnari and I use him in Aggrevate teams with Kuki and Fischl. Noelle is an amazing unit in general and is the Savior of bad artifacts. I like Lyney but Father gotta be Father.

With Hu Tao her only main things is if you can't anicancel her charged attacks properly then you really do lose a lot of damage and her cons are meh. C1 is fantastic but it only makes her easier to play. Arlecchino's cons are stupidly broken. If you have the cons it feels like it should be illegal. However, you can never underestimate how much damage Hu Tao can do. It's very respectable. I have Hu Tao in one party and Arlecchino in the other for abyss. I really like Hu Tao but Arlecchino took my account and wallet then just ran off with it. I have her c6/r1. She is an insane unit and I am all here for it.

As someone who has both Xiao and Wanderer, I have to agree with you. Xiao is way too dependent on his burst to work and isn’t F2P at all, while the Wanderer is normal attack focussed and doesn’t require any other five stars. And I’m not going to count the need for C6 Faruzan as that’s a trait they share. I was surprised by your Cyro picks though. But I will admit that Ganyu is more F2P friendly than my top pick Ayaka. So… fair enough. As for Charlotte, Yeah, I can see that. Also, given you asked who my go-to DPS are for each element, I’ll name them Anemo: Wanderer (I named mine Sasuke) Geo: Navia Electro: Raiden (though it’ll probably change to Clorinde when I’ve built her) Dendro: Kaveh (he wins by default) Hydro: new girl Mualani (I don’t have any others, unless you count Nilou, which I don’t given she’s a quick-swapper) Pyro: a tie between Yoimiya, Lyney, Ga-ming, and Yanfei. (Though Yanfei takes the ultimate win because I’ve been using her the longest.) Cyro: Ayaka (to the surprise of no-one)

Beidou, Fischl and Yae, since you didn't even mention her, are 100% DPS'es. Being primarily off-fielders doesn't magically change their role, especially Yae who performs best as a Quickbloom on-fielder.

I'll agree that Ganyu is the most flexible of the 3 but yeah lol. In freeze, Ayaka is the strongest. In reverse melt, Wriothesley wrecks. Ganyu can do both quite well, but yeah. She ain't hitting a million times in 5 seconds on permanent frozen enemies like Ayaka or having insane self sustain while dropping 275k damage melt CAs. Also, being the only "melee" character that doesn't have their combo interrupted by dashing makes Wriothesley just buttery smooth to play and means dodging isn't a DPS loss assuming you hit your N5 at least.

I disagree and its not even close, (i have not invested in Ningguang as much but i played a bit whit her) sure Ningguang may be able to hit more nukes than Noelle, but if you look well to their kits and teams its pretty clear who works better as a dps. Noelle has a relative good damage for a 4 star, aoe + team wide healing + shield. Basically a whole team in 1 single character Her playstile is pretty straight foward and she can use some of the best supports of the game to the fullest whitout feeling clunky or weird. Ningguang has good damage from what i have seen so far but the aoe sucks and most of the times she feels weird to play. In terms of top damage Ningguang may even suprass Noelle, but overall Noelle is much better, just the aoe she has and her being so comfy to play puts her above

I'd like to add that Hu Tao can be paired with C6 Bennet. Hear me out. Yes, a healer is not optimal, but if you have Furina, Bennet and Xingqiu, Hu Tao can have max Pyro application thanks to Bennet's Pyro infusion. The limited healing also protects her from getting destroyed, something that Arlecchino's passive A0 does not allow, making her far more reliant on Zhongli and her burst more of a panic heal than a damage high.

The attack increase from bennett also gives you more all elemental and phys resistance if I'm not mistaken since you'll be over 3k attack for sure. I thought she'd be really squishy but tbh, she's the tankiest damn character in the game and her damage is so unbelievably massive and front loaded, that you could annihilate a 12-3 consecrated beast in the time it takes for him to scream into the air on spawn. Can't die to lack of healing if everything is instantly dead and endless Pyro infusion means you don't have to hold your infusion for multiple waves of enemies. Just let it rip.

Personally, I don't think a dps is always the on field character. I think it's just the character that deals the most damage in the party. Which is why I think Xiangling, Xingqiu, and Fischl would be the best 4-star dps in their elements. As for best 5 star cryo I would give it to Ayaka or Wriothesley. While Ganyu is a great character and very flexible, if you are just looking for who deals the most damage, it goes to one of the other two.
