Just a little insight as a ScaraMona and ChongTao shipper: ScaraMona: it's based on the "Haters/Enemies to Lovers" trope. Along within their encounter in the event, Scaramouche believes the stars are a lie (which would come into collision with Mona who uses the stars as a guide for the future). Also both characters are prideful in their own right (which I think could lead into potential funny banter between them). ChongTao: Chongyun, Hu tao, along with Xingqiu and Xinyan, are all childhood friends. Chongyun even being a spectator in Xingqiu and Hu Tao's poetry battles. Though Chongyun seems to have a dislike towards Hu because he believes she's dismissive about his job as an exorcist. Also in addition both characters occupations are affiliated with ghosts/spirits. So personally I see their dynamic as: "Opposites Attract" with other elements such as "Not so Different" and possible "Friends to Lovers" Also something funny I wanna bring up because I see almost NO ONE talk about this: but the "ShenLan" pairing became so popular because fans saw it as "XingYun 2.0" (but make it yuri) but fans were also really scared if Xingqiu and Yelan were related because shipping Yelan/Shenhe and Xingqiu/Chongyun at once would fall into the line of incest 😂

I found out about these after I uploaded the video and I do agree with the incest risk in the latter. One trope I really liked is enemies to lovers with a hint of redemption for them to make sense since their issue doesn't cut deep into their characters. (Plus Scara turned face so the ship becomes more reasonable) Honestly, Shenlan is carried because of the comic fanworks and the MMD animations I see of them.

I think Neuvillette and Zhongli is pretty interesting actually. Mind you, I didn't even know it was a ship at all, but when you brought it up I was like "Ohhhhh, that makes sense!" Yes, they are both tall distinguished gentlemen, true. But also, they are in a very tense situation right now. Neuvillette wants to put Zhongli on trial. Zhongli even avoided him during the Lantern Rite. Both are also probably the most powerful playable characters in lore, so a fight between them would be disastrous. If Yomiya/Amber makes for a good friends to lovers journey, Zhongli and Neuvy can make for a very tense enemies to lovers one instead. It's likely that Zhongli is on Neuvy's side, from how I interpret the character, but he still knows the situation is too dangerous to treat it lightly. This tension, evolving into an understanding between the two, maybe through some period of rivalry... it's not JUST a good ship, but also would make for a great plot point in itself.

I'm not really up for it but since you described a pretty good story with them. I'm starting to like the ship. But with Zhongli and Neuvy meeting in game, I think Hoyo is saving that for a future story. It's too important for a story quest or event. It has to be Archon Quest.

As a multishipper, my favourite ships are Chongyun/Bennett, Chongyun/Xingqiu, Bennett/Razor, Bennett/Fischl, Jean/Beidou

I’m kind of iffy about Monafischl because I actually don’t know how old fischl is 😭 I just wish hoyo would confirm ages.. would make things so much easier 17:38 to me NeuviLi is only one of those ships that works in AU’s like, single soccer dad au would go hard

there isn't many of us. But one of my personal favorites is Venti x Furina. Theres like 10 of us. We are all nice and never make fights with anyone. We're just a fun group of people that one to see to archons smooch.

As a Fischl main, I respect that. Bennett x Fischl didn't show because I chose to start on round of 64 than 256, since there was too many ships. Even ones like Kaveh x Alhaitham and Candace x Dehya didn't show up for me.
