Thank you SO much for this video. I’m currently having a truly terrrrible time with my eyes. They’re driving me CRAZY and this is the worst they’ve ever been since I was 14 and I’m well over that now. Aarrrgghhhh!!!! I’ve tried just about everything including the recently OTC approved Lastacaft. Helps a bit but no more than the Pataday which I was already using. The only thing that has ever helped with eye allergies this bad was some version of prednisone for eyes. My eye doctor in SoCal gave me a rx that I used, twice a year for a short time, and they worked like a charm. But the 2 opthamologists I’ve seen here in NorCal won’t prescribe it for me. You’d think I was asking for a rx for an opiate. Insane! I haven’t tried the eye scrubs so I’m going out to get some today. Sorry to hear that! I wonder why they won't prescribe them. I have some patients that need a short burst of a steroid like that when it gets bad. I hope you find relief!

I am the same. Having a terrible time of it. Also in NorCal. Tried many eye drops to no avail. Currently living in sierra foothills with closest stores 45 min away. Difficulty driving, my eyes are that bad. I have to rely on amazon which still requires a drive to PO 20 min away. Such a royal pain.

I was at the eye doctor and the retinal imaging scanners are just so bright! My eyes were aching for quite a bit and I was wondering if a machine like this could cause eye damage?

What about histamine from food? Will these drops help with that?

I follow a low histamine diet. Unfortunately coffee seems to aggravate symptoms; apparenty degrades DAO which is the enzyme that breaks down histamine. Treating the eye symptoms will not fix the histamine in food intolerance. It is all about mast cells releasing histamine. Look into mast cell activation syndrome. Eat only whole foods very low in histamine. Avoid all fermented foods including wine, kombucha, sauerkraut, smoked meats such as bacon, aged meats and dairy, citrus, tea, etc.

Since early childhood, my right eyelid in particularly there would appear a tiny looking bump signaling only when a cold was coming or whatever else - no itching or red eye. In 20s, suddenly skin dermatitis/eczema hit which included eyelid irritation, red in eyes. Ceased using anything topical, irritating to my skin overall and all fine. Now, in my old age, the tiny looking bump on right eyelid only is most always there, wit no other sign of irritation. It makes we want to apply something on my eyelid, like green tea bags, something in means to have little bump go away. It's not a hard tiny bump. I do wear eye makeup when going out which am very careful does not have any ingredients causing any irritation. The big no no for me for all my skin is products containing alcohol/fragrance.Can't wear any jewelry that is metal without plated, or near 24k. ANY INPUT would be greatly appreciated.

@@DrEyeGuy YES, always in same place since I can remember. It's not a hard tiny bump. It's very soft area near the eye duct I think it's called, cannot feel it as I run my finger across my eyelid right now. I've never thought to mention it to a doctor. A couple of yrs ago, out of the blue, I thought I had an eye infection like I had 1x yrs ago. But turned out not so. Went to an eye specialist. Can't remember what he diagnosed that usually people with rheumatoid arthritis and like can get. Had to see him twice a week for a good length of time, vision was impaired to a degree, taking meds until it went away. Scary. Took a battery of medical tests. I was normal. Dr said could be a fluke. Never returned TG. Don't remember if that teensy bump was there. My point is, I guess is that the eye doctor was all over my eyes in examinations, and tests galore. Bottom line: I've always assumed this appeared from perhaps an allergy of some kind I wasn't aware of, or again a cold that usually followed as I recall. Like a signal forewarning me. Now, for sometime I've noticed it there and not going away. Also, thinking about it, in past when a cold would follow or prior, I think that area of eyelid, not the eye, had slight redness. Not now however. No redness Thanks for responding. Maybe, my eye lid should be in some medical journal LOL

I have Systane Complete (non PF) that I use for dry eye. Is the Systane Complete PF or the Systane Hydration PF eye drops any better? The Systane Complete that I am using now is okay.....but not the best. I was using Pataday too, but that one is really pricey.

I like both the complete and the hydration. The complete is good for people that have both evaporative and aqueous deficient type of dry eye.

İ dont know what happend but it seems like an allergy cos at the same time my nose is itching too.. i woke up with that broken not opening eye and i washed it srubed it hardly then it opened with weak condition and it was red and itchy and started itching every 5 minutes and then i washed it again it goes for a while then it starts again also with my nose…

Look into histamine intolerance and MCAS. Removing your eye will not fix the root cause. Keep searching for a solution. Start by changing your diet to whole foods, very low histamine. Most disorders are due to lifestyle.

@@davidpatrick1813 I wash my hands, put some on my finger, hold the bottom eye lid open with the other hand and put the honey in the bottom eye lid. Rotate the eye about to spread the honey. It burns a bit but nothing dramatic.
