I been using speer lawman for training and speer gold dot for defense only because they are the exact same load and feel but i really like the performance of the federal HST's and wish federal made a training load with the same load as the HSt's

Good information, It's a good idea to shoot your carry ammo. But I know several guys that don't because of the price. I have seen a fair difference in where ccw and practice print on the target.

Good breakdown on ammo. I agree, hst was the best I’ve found too. Though a deciding factor that helped was it’s $20 for 50 price point. I miss those days.

You can use anything. Just be aware point of impact will be off most likely. If you know it, then you can deal with it.
