When I first started this channel it was under the guise of highlighting some amazing VR experiences and to dispel the narrative that VR has no games.
And for the most part I’d like to feel that we’ve done a nice job of doing just that but like my mama always told me.
You can always do more..
So with that being said we are here to fight back against the notion that AAA games do not exist in the VR space…

Great to see you back! Assassins Creed was a big surprise for me aswell, didnt expect to have so much fun with it. Still need to spend more time in AG2, but recently, Dungeons of Eternity is taking up all my RPG time.

Not a AAA game,. but one that DEFINITELY deserves some coverage. Ancient Dungeon VR. Been having a ton of fun with it lately and should be known more widely than it currently is. still in early access but recently released Multiplayer. Game starts you off easy and gradually unlocks more as you go.

@@vrvoyager Just be warned, it isn't easy for some! some tips I can offer early is - Dont downwards strike monsters. Sideways or upwards. Helps knock them back. You can block or parry projectiles / Smack away lunging enemies. It helps to collect Lore pages and unlock achievements. Gets you the second class and more relics to find.

Great list! But personally, I think that Walking Dead Saints and Sinners is a better game than Half Life Alyx. Sure, Alyx looks and play amazing, but it is fairly linear. WDS&S doesn’t look as good as Alyx, but there is more game depth to get stuck into. Alyx is a fantastic VR showcase game and definitely has its place.

While I respect your opinion I have to disagree!! Truthfully S&S is a good game but it is nowhere near HLA in terms of quality. I’m of the camp that not every game has to be open world because then we just get big open worlds with nothing in it. HLA’s plot, technical prowess and gameplay are just elite in the VR space right now imo .

Personally and unfortunately, when stacked up against other games, S&S Just feels... Dated. Things feel unnecessarily heavy and cumbersome. Good choices are overshadowed by poor ones in how the game works.

AAA used to mean something but not much anymore. Now if we are talking about games that are up to par or very close to AAA QUALITY then you have a solid list to add. Moss 1&2, TWD Saints and Sinners, Beat Saber, Synapse, Kayak VR, Red Matter 2.

And yes my taste are spoiled but when looking for the best of the best, Assassin's Creed Nexus is on the very bottom of the list. It was a big disappointment

@@vrvoyager elitist tribalism Yes, I admit it. But my dream is for everyone to experience it. Most people have not experienced it. I had High hopes in PSVR 2. But Sony seems not to know how to even market it. The Quest 3 is a good piece of tech but still very watered down. I feel it is a necessary Evil in order to push more VR to the masses. High End PCVR is still the Best of the Best.

There are no PSVR2 AAA games that aren’t ports (as I prefaced no ports no mods) that are top 5. You graphics losers are really something else. Unlike you I don’t do console tribalism hence why there were 3 PCVR games. @@vrvoyager Some of us own all of the vr mediums, and disagree with you about the importance of graphics(nothing to do with tribalism), but a preference. I have the psvr2, the quest 1 and 2, the oculus rift, the rift s, the pico 4, the psvr1, and have had a variety of others that I returned for not giving me the experience I wanted. I also have the xbox series s, playstation 4 and 5, and a pc I built with a 13700k cpu, and a 4090 gpu. So does that make me an Elitist? LOL
