I hope that Aaron can stay healthy all year and have a respectable season. We really missed Brett Favre when he went to New York + then Minnesota, I was so happy that Brett played well. Just be patient Jets fans...this guy did not play football for months. When he gets his timing back completely he could be a real force to be reckoned with? ( Packer fan )

The key thing to watch out for him this year is how he handles himself in the pocket. He needs to let that thang go and stop thinking he can extend the play like he used to. As a Green Bay fan towards the end it was infuriating to watch. I don’t know if it’s because he got happy feet or he was bothered by the rush coming after him but he wouldn’t trust what he saw and would get off reads way too quickly. Although a tough minded player, Rodgers is 40 and not a big or strong guy so if the rush gets to him he might check out mentally a bit like Brady at the end. One thing I would like him to adopt from Brady is to get rid of the ball and not take hits to extend the play. I’m rooting for him and the Jets this year and hoping Packers get to play you guys in the SB.
@Jaymitch322 күн бұрын
Maybe bc he didn’t trust those young wr . I mean he threw a TD bomb to Christian Watson on the 1st n he dropped it! I’m 100% positive, he thought mannnn this is going to be a long season with dez wideouts
@JerC-h3q22 күн бұрын
@@Jaymitch3 trust is part of it but Rodgers has developed this habit of hanging on the ball too long always looking for a bigger play. Just look at his few snaps before his injury, He's doing the same thing.

Bold but realistic expectations for this season: 1. Aaron gets hurt for considerable time again. Will look good when he does play. Will be a complete and total distraction for the entire year. Jets tenure ends after this year and will not be considered a good signing by anyone. 2. JD and Saleh are fired. Saleh lost locker room last year, never got it back. Reddick trade is bad, dumb, head scratching move when considering you had your answer in Bryce huff in the building, could’ve signed without trading picks/assets. 3. Jets picking top 15 again. 4. Near 2 decades long search for a QB starts over next year. 5. Woody continues streak for worst major sport owner in North America.

When there is no pressure Rodgers is amazing. When the pressure is on, the game on the line, suddenly his throws are all over the place, especially when the lights are the brightest, in the postseason. Just look at all his plays at the Bucs 8 yards line in that NFC championship. Afraid to run, throws like my grand mother would make LOL

40+ year Packer fan here who's allegiance left that shit hole with Rodgers last year. 1. Last season - until the horrific 4th play - Jets fans got a honeymoon of sorts with Rodgers and the media. They are god-awful to him. 2. This year will be very different. And by the way, a LOT of that bad press is literally created BY THE PACKERS FRANCHISE. 3. My guess is that Wilson will have about 6... no... let's say 7 BAJILLION yards receiving this season and about 12+ TDs.
