after watching the TB ranking video, we were spoiled with how syns worked last year. This year i feels whatever your lock players have as a boost if the syn you go for even if its bad like checking boost. Once i feel like i dont wanna play NHL i jump on civ, its addicting. This years game is also you play like 3 days a week and get everything that a person playing 7 days will get Also loving the format of streams, reyap in the morning, afternoon gameplay during content days and afternoon youtube work on non content days. seems like a great routine!

Winter break is typically the most free time I have to play until I get back to college in the Spring; my team mostly centers around favorite players and team/former (Hurricanes) players, while trying to chase those top-tier cards if possible. I’m a free-to-play, div 2 & can easily win 10+ wins in HUT Champs, and I haven't focused on x-factors/team building. I recently was able to pack milestone McDavid (87) from one of the days of gift sets by chance. Hey sleeves, any suggestions on a goalie. I know they aren’t super important but I feel like everyone keeps letting in weak goals. I was rocking the 82 Hat Trick Lehner but I took a break from the game so he’s no upgraded yet. Had the 88 Otter but traded him for 97. Now I’m rocking the TOTW Ullmark. He’s made the occasional huge save but then will let in 1-3 soft goals under the blocker every game and I don’t feel confident with him. One of these 3 or markstrome are usually who I go with year after year and have yet to find success with them except the Otter who I will probably not be able to make again as I’ve already done my week 2 objectives to get 89 McD. Love the content year after year, longtime fan and it always helps so keep up the good work and happy holidays.

I know how to glitch skate down the boards. My LG buddies do it. I just refuse to do it because it looks ridiculous, and it's not hockey. I also agree, and im glad you said so the younger guys (and older) can hear it. You're not gonna make a living playing this game competitively. It's highly unlikely. Yet theres so many people that send msgs to the opposing player when they lose. Don't get so worked up or lose your dignity over it. I admit, hockey can bring out the worst in me when i lose to guys that are glitching or a pile of soft goals go in. But I suck it up and know that there's another match to be played.

Hey Sleeves! I feel like 75s will be used for Series 2 XF. I know everyone is comparing it to the PWHL XF but they only need 6 base XF to make a captain instead 8 for a Series 1 Captain. I think the difference here in 75 to 78s that ea chose to their attempt to make the McDavid and Spooner virtually the same cost in the long term. Again you need 32! Base XF series 1 for McDavid vs 24 base XF women for Spooner. Let me know your thoughts! And keep up the great work!

And then i pull the 87 milestone McDavid from my weekly comp pack but since the 89 is cheaper than the 87 im gonna get screwed over with how much he sells for

Im 3 and 5 in Champs so far and had a couple of games where i got worked on defense. Im not having a problem scoring using your strategies. 1st year hut player, loving the game. Can’t believe the negative feedback on Bedard. I guess each person’s experience with a card really is different. Built him right away even though my right handed wingers are beyond stacked. He pushed 87 Eichel to the bench. Couldn’t be more happy. Make it snappy on him makes him feel better then the Next Gen from last year. Favourite card on my team ( 10x better then PUI Gretzky)

Hi sleeves. Is it possible to show your gamepad graphic while playing. Even though your reels and recommendations are cool it would be great to see how buttons are pressed during the game. I suppose for rookies it would be extremely helpful. Fore example I understand that I should do backhand-forehand-backhand while 1on1 but don’t understand if something else should be used, like should I accelerate or stop.

fellow pens fan! i'd say do lemieux first, TBs just came out and should drop lower in price. also typically the store has TB packs which are typically a better value than making the equivalent TB

I would go Lemieux and try to get the 85 Letang from Frozen Forces for now. Also as a Penguins fan I would highly recommend buying a Crosby card. Any of the ones at 85 or better are great and it feels so good to me scoring with one of my favorite players

*HELP* Yo Sleeves, this is kind of complicated. Week one of frozen forces I pulled a non tradable Morgan Reilly in the team builders pack. Made Mo seider just to make mcdavid. I am going for X factor mcdavid, currently have kuch and nylander fully upgraded and 6 of the last 16 base xfactor I need for the other 2 as well as 1.2M coins. My question is do I trade in mcdavid and otter that I made this week for free with the weekly content for kuch then prioritize xfactor mcdavid? I do want to have nylander on my team for the rest of the season so I will probably keep this one and make a trade in nylander.

I’m 2 captains in and have about 350-400 75-80 overall players. I’m spooked about making mcdavid now because the FF mcdavid is low key better than his xfactor for 1/10 the price… also he’s a lock for team of the year and even if that cards a mil it’s still way cheaper than his xfactor. I’m concerned about making mcdavid and it being not worth it. Especially if a dope season 2 xfactor comes out. What do you think? Appreciate the vids!

Debating making McDavid. Gonna wait for week 2 MSPs. Wish we had more of a heads up on what is happening. I have a idea on saving the BND idea. Have it what we have been saying for years. The more you use them, the more they're progression adds up. If EA doesn't do that with the BNDs. Then it's just a useless idea. Edit: how would you feel if you made a MSP that's untradeable. Then the vary next pack opening you pull the same card that is untradeable????

Sleeves, I totally disagree with your goalie take. Having an understated goalie that lets in 4 plus goals on 10 shots will cause you to lose many games. Earlier in the year I was running below average goalies and would get 10 wins in Hut champs as a div 2 player. My goalie would have three or four games a run where he was abosulte ass letting in muffins and having a below 40% save percentage which is unaccpetable. Last hut champs I built 88 Otteninger and had my best performane with a 14 win run, and I didnt lost a single game where my opoonent got less than10 shots, whereas with an understated goalie they would be losses with you know 7 goals against on 12 shots. Just my take but I no longer believe you at all when you say goalies dont matter.
