Hello sir, Thank you so much for the detailed video on beat AC 2023.. I have 1 doubt while going for purchase of AC. I live in Kharadi, Pune area on the top floor of a 14 storey building. My room size is 132 sq fts (12*11). I was thinking of 1.5 ton ac. But been on the top floor the room get heated up during day time fast. Also, 1 wall of the room is complete toughened glass covered with curtains. Temparature in pune is usually high during day and gets low to around 18 degree during night. This temparature will go to 23 in April end at night. Will 1.5 ton ac be sufficient to cover all the things considering *top floor *hot temparature *room sq ft *no air leakage etc. Please reply to me as soon as possible to make the AC purchase fast ?***

HI Vineet , Which hot and cold 1.5 invertor AC is better Panasonic , LG and Daikin as per your recommendation it's Panasonic but if we compare energy consumption (ISEER ) for Panasonic - 4.10 , LG - 3.96 and Daikin 4.39 . Hi Vineet, Many Thanks for all your and your teams effort, with all the valuable information you share, I want to share my experience for LG 1.5 Ton 5 Star. Recently i bought LG 1.5 Ton 5 Star after watching your video, but it's not been two months and It required servicing & to my surprise the engineer said it's clogged with dust and need servicing. Now two things were shocking to me. a. we have been using two split AC since last 15 years although it was Samsung model, which needed minimum servicing like it's just needed manual cleaning. never paid anyone to clean the dust in my both ACs. we're living in same area for last 15 years. Then How come this model from LG 1.5 Ton 5 Star getting so much of dust ?? within two months ?? b. With this model LG 1.5 Ton 5 Star it seems they have two types of cleaning one is with brush manual (which is less efficient and it's cover in warranty period) and the other is jet spray cleaning which charge something around ~800 INR (approx) and this one doesn't cover in warranty and it'll cost more once warranty is over. so if i do the math we use AC for 6 months and this will 2400 extra per year, and on top of that after warranty it'll cost even more. So, in a way consumer has to pay 5k (approx) for servicing in a year once the warranty is over and somewhere around 3.5-4k (approx) w/ insurance (which if it extends the warranty) . So, my humble request to you is please add this type of info too in the future videos.

I would like to share my experience , last year ie 2022 i bought 2 ac's from the knowledge sir gave us and like copper condesor coils , coatings etc and even my parents were surprised after seeing the electricity bill . Thank god such wonderful advice is available for us noobs! Sir, my parent’s room is around 245sq feet and 10 feet in height. The roof is fully exposed to the sun, with my room and the kitchen below, and another room beside. There are a total of 5 windows of 3x3 each (1 on north side wall, 2 on SE side wall and 2 on SW side wall). Sun light falls on the North wall only as our garden provides good shade elsewhere. My mother only uses the AC in the afternoon and night, as she doesn’t like it too cold due to her thyroid issue. I assume she will run the ac on 25°C mostly, intermittently and maybe with fan. Kolkata weather is an avg. of 38°C with 40% humidity. Please recommend 🙏🏽

Sharing my experience on LG with Black Ocean Technology - In 1 year and 3 months of purchase of dual inverter split AC, the coils with Black Ocean protection leaked at the U bends where the black ocean protection paint was applied and complete inner coil unit was replaced by LG technician. Cost of gas recharge, coil unit replacement and valve replacement is Rs12000 without discount.If this happens every year because it did with new AC, in 4 years time you will have to spend as much as the cost of the ac. Very high cost of ownership and bad black ocean technology materials it seems. It just works as much or maybe lesser than a normal coil AC without any coil protection technology. LG technicians are umempathettic when you tell them that you bought the ac considering your needs of an AC with coil protection technology and why it didn't work. Further when you try to repair the coils, the black paint will melt and it will make the coil unrepairable. They will bring big inner unit coils without even the AC opened for identifying the problem and that will intimidate you. @vineet malhotra do you really do a long term ownership review video or its just fews days into the usage to create a video?

Hi, as always I rely on your analysis for product suggestions. It's a wonderfully explained video. I do have a doubt for my case. I have a 120sq.ft room with 9ft hight covered from 3 sides, and have houses above and below. Only one wall has 4x4 window on which I use blackout curtains. Upto last year I used LC 1.5 ton window AC and I used to operate it at 26 degree else it makes the room very chilled. I don't like much cold so I hardly sleep with AC on at night. Should I go for a 1 Ton AC instead of 1.5 Ton based on the situation I explained.

Excellent review as usual. Pathetic after-sales service from Panasonic in Kolkata. Even after Job Card was issued as soon as delivery was over, no call from the brand regarding installation is received yet. The Panasonic Helpline number was contacted 8 times.

Hi VM-One : for Panasonic you informed that it has Stabilizer free operation till 290V - and later for Daikin you advised that external Stabilizers are extremely important (even though it was inbuilt) to save inverter AC from voltage fluctuations. I was a loyal Daikin customer but in March, I needed an AC and Daikin new 2033 models weren't launched then so chose to go with LG and trust me, LG's cooling is way more soothing, don't know why, probably because of proprietary compressor technology! So if your objective is power saving etc then idk but if comfort is priority, go with LG 😊

There's nothing called "proprietary compressor technology". LG uses standard rotary compressors while Daikin uses a low friction variation called swing compressor. The reason why LG felt better is maybe because your old AC is not an inverter one.

You can buy the same AC at 38,000 Rs if you don't want Air purification technology and are okay with air filter itself. You have mentioned that one should not consider LG 1.5 ton AC for room size greater than 140 sq ft.
