Coup de Grace only gives a 15% damage buff to the Arte that drains your last bit of AG to 0. It doesn't give you a timed damage buff to any subsequent arte used after your AG is drained.

Increasing aggro on Kisara is VERY helpful. and lowering aggro on Rinwell and Shionne is what I use. also a tip for anyone who struggles alot

I also put Increased Aggro L on Kisara and Decreased aggro L on Rinwell & Shionne...helps out dramatically. What's great about these perks is you only really need to use one slot for them. Instead of stacking 3 or 4. You should be just fine with having one on each of them.

Something to keep in mind. Do you want cast time or CP? If Shionne can cast spells faster, she can heal you faster. That's are pretty big deal. She isn't really using more CP besides the 20% you give to use Cast Time reduction. Penetration has bad value but on someone like Kisara it can be nice because she deals a lot of break damage. But you have to consider if you want to use the effect that reduces her Resistance by 80%. Aggro effects are not very good. In boss fights, they will still go for the player controller character even if Kisara has 4 Increase Aggro Large effects and the Player controlled character has Decrease Aggro Large effects. It can be of some use during minor battles and, on rare occasion, the bosses CAN become distracted very momentarily. I do not think this is worth such a heavy investment though. Shionne's best accessory is a -20% cast time with -40% CP use or a -20% CP use and another -40% CP use. I like the cast time but both are good. Flat stat boosts are bad. Like +60 defense or +120 penetration. Also, penetration is a bad stat. While it does help break enemies more easily, that only counts for regular enemies and it does not boost critical hit rate after a certain point. And that point seems to be a pretty low stat amount so stacking penetration isn't needed or recommended. If you are using Dohalim as a healer, then a setup similar to Shionne's will work. If you are controlling him, boosting his wind damage or earth damage is good because his best artes have those elements attached. If you have him set to ai, a -20% casting rate with 4 +15% dark damage is really nice. -5% cast time is a very bad return for investing in an accessory slot. I don't recommend it. If you are controlling Alphen, +15% elemental attack or +50% movement/escape speed (a really nice buff) will work. The other 4 slots should be +15% Fire Damage, really setting off his Flaming Edge artes. If he is set to ai, the best set up is +15% elemental attack (buffing his Boost arte damage. Not the best. If you have something else here you might prefer, go for it.) and x4 +8% BG Charge Rate. He ideally shouldn't be in the party for this. This set up is really broken and you can keep bosses downed for nearly the whole fight like this. Rinwell's best is a bit complicated. Ideally she would have an accessory determined by the bosses weakness. So 3 accessories, all with base -20% cast speed. 1. x4 +15% Wind Damage 2. x4 +15% Water Damage and 3. x4 +15% Light Damage. Now, something to keep in mind is that her strongest spell doesn't have an element so, if you want, you could make a Mystic Symbol with x4 -5% Casting Time. It would allow her to build her combos faster for faster casting. This would be a decent setup. This is at your discretion. However, I forgot the best setup! Half AG Cost! Get at least 90% and the last slot can be whatever. This is way better than the other setups because you can cast longer. Law's best artes are elemental, like everyone else. I control Law so I like to use +50 Movement/Escape Speed. It just feels really nice. Counterattack and Smackdown are good effects for Law. Ai or otherwise. If you use the Boost Gauge setup with Alphen above, Smackdown is very, very nice. Kisara can be setup to break enemies (you really only need one character like this). So an Impact ring with x4 +120 Penetration can be good for her. You can set her up to build BG as well. Having her boost always available to stop charges (that can happen at any time) and boost the parties physical and elemental defense can be very nice. Plus, her BG does decent damage too. Lastly, she can be setup for damage. Choose +15% attack or +15 elemental attack and, if you are using the BG Alphen setup, using Smackdown. If you are not using that Alphen setup, use the Counterattack setup with her. Keep in mind this is all my opinion but hopefully you have at least seen the throughline in my thought process.

I agree for the most part. For me I never needed the cast time for Shionne (I tried it) and I just preferred using a fully stacked CP accessory. I 100% agree on Penetration. Unfortunately I didn't test it as much as I should've when I posted this video. But after testing it pretty thoroughly with different setups, I just couldn't make penetration worth running other than for mobs..and even then it's still pretty meh at that point. I actually started using the +50% movement on Kisara due to her not having any good maneuver skills/capabilities. It doesn't only increase her movement speed, but also her block speed, making it really easy to counter enemies. So I basically just stacked movement speed on her (110% I believe) and it was really fun to use. The aggro is also pretty underwhelming. On paper sounds great just like penetration, but it's really not all that great unfortunately, unless you plan on controlling the character with the increase in aggro, this will make it so enemies rarely actually attack your party due to them already being easily aggro'd to the player.

@@bongchoof Increased Move Speed is great on Rinwell, too. With all of her Move Speed while casting upgrades and a maxed Move Speed accessory, you can move faster than most charging enemies and faster than any normal mob or staggered magic attack while casting. It's also pretty funny to use it against the Mantid Gigant in calaglia, you can basically kite him around the area while pinging him with magic until he spawns his mobs and he can't do anything about it. Lol.

It's because the AI characters are just garbage at dealing damage. It's only useful for if you only play one character and get that character downed and you don't want your healers targeted. The aggro one. I also think the accessory skills don't stack, I could be wrong. So Aggro L doesn't stack for example. Same with Coup de grace.

I prefer counterattack +30%. More consistent than glutton for battle in my opinion. I originally thought counterattack mean when you perfect evade then attack. But it actually mean you deal more damage when the enemy is in the animation of attacking, which should happen almost constantly, where glutton for battle not very useful for boss unless they call for backup. So for the stamina ring for alphen, I did what you did except adding counterattack x 2 instead of coup de grace and glutton for battle. Alphen almost never run out of AG while consistently deal 60% more damage

Does it increase counteredge damage as well? Or only if the enemy is in the middle of an attack? Counteredge already does like 3 or 4 times as much damage as a regular attack for me so for difficult bosses I basically don't even try to hit them, I just go for perfect evades and counteredges.

Ease of use is better than spamming reigning slash, which you can still do, and the damage is absolutely ridiculous. Only annoying thing is sometimes having to wait for the wave to travel through the entire battle map before activating the synch kill on larger mobs. Bullet time makes it feel like it takes forever.

I tried for Rinwell, instead of Elemental Atk +60, going for 1 magic emblem of each element with 4x +15% (light atk, wind atk, etc.) and changing rings taking into account the enemy element. That's sometimes useful, even more so with bosses. But Casting time is the best anyways I think

If anyone is trying to utilize Dohalim and unlock his true potential, please consider stacking Earth damage+15%. He has access to 4 AMAZING earth skills and his Burst does earth damage aswell and has crazy multipliers. You can build him differently depending on how much CP cost reduction you need. If you main him, you can build elemental attack% and 4x earth damage +15% since you will not be providing much support outside of Regenerate for you and your team, and will otherwise be attacking so your kit should have more damaging abilities rather than supportive ones. He can also utilize the Warrior ring, but I wouldn't go for it since you can get more value out of elemental attack %, even when considering the high crit dmg multiplier on Rotating Piledriver. If you want him to deal damage but be more supportive you can use the -CP cost ring (Faerie), add another 2 CP cost % for a total of 40% CP cost reduction and 2x earth damage +15%. Personally I always went elemental attack% for the better scalling, 2x CP cost for a total of 20% and x2 earth damage +15%. Later on in the game, you will have a bigger CP pool, so you will be fine with higher CP cost abilities, leaving room for Dohalim to grow as a damage dealer.

20% cast time and 40% cp cost isn’t a bad option for Shione. The base cp cost being only 20% but the stackable being 10% means it’s only double effective base. The cast time being 20% and the stackable only 5% means the stackable is far less value.

Nice video help others the edge on hows late game accessories be like. Bout the ore actually it unlock based on your story progress and after that all the ore gather point will have percentage of dropping all kind of ore just use those ore boost meal or the lucky peddle ... After my 100+ hours in the game, finish most of the achievement except for the lv100( too lazy :v) get at least full 4 set of all kind of elementals reduction for bosses and the rest for normal encounter since elemental damage in this game is kinda hash (from moderate difficulty up you will notice the gap) also learn to set custom strategies as well or your ai will end up eat all your gel. Take it slow with the combo don't spam since the game is kinda action lock also change artes in middle of the fight also help cause tales game not just all bout fast pace but more like strategies in using all you have ( you can even change accessories in middle of the fight so have some spare one never hurt). Hope you guys all truly enjoy what the game has to offer cheers.

For Rinwell I'm using Warrior Emblem with 4x 30% Counterattack Damage Up Factor. Since Meteor is Non-Elem and cover the whole area it's definitely hit Mobs and Boss while they're attacking and triggers the Factor.

Fleetfoot Ring with additional movement speed is hilarious on Rinwell. You can move faster than enemies can, even while casting. You can actually kite the bigger enemies around the edge of the battle area while constantly pinging them with magic. It's great.

I'd use Cast Speed for her if you're planning on using her. She's still somewhat of a caster like Rinwell, unless you're not going with her casting artes, then yeah I'd go stamina ring then since her quick cast artes will eat up AG

It's worth noting that Alphen, Rinwell and Law all have talents you can unlock that restore AG on critical hits, so they don't really need AG reduction/restoration. I'm only just starting the final dungeon now (and side note: Why the F was the 1st half of the game so damn hard but the backend is a breeze ? WTF ?!) but I feel like I have a good sense of what to build for. What I'm really curious about before I spend a bunch of time and resources crafting, is which talents stack and how do they stack. For example are you positive that AG reduction is additive ? Personal experience would lead me to believe that those extra 20% mods would proc independently rather than stacking. Also, movement speed up is actually pretty damned nice if you plan to main Shionne. But what about Aggro Up or Item Drop Rate? Do those stack? And does item rate up only work if the person using it is in the active party? I really, REALLY hate how often enemies tend to just blindside me while I'm trying to juggle one in the air as Alphen so I'm sorely tempted to just put as much Aggro up as possible on Kisara but I imagine there's likely a cap to that effect.

I thought about using cast time for her as well, but honestly she really didnt need it all too much..thw cast time will just make your cp drain a lot faster even with the little bit of cp reduction you get, having revitalize be cut down by 60% is a much greater value tham the 40% with a 20% cut on cast time because the 20% cut on the cast time wont make a huge difference. Having her have the a fully maxed cast time reduction accessory is still nice though, but you'd have to be very careful with her cp consumption though where as max cp reduction accessory you can basically just spam with no thoughts..I had her spam revitalize like 10x in a row and she only used about 200 cp, now if you didnt. Use revitalize and just used first aid or healing circle..with 200 cp usage you can basically use both of them like 20-30 times, you know what i mean?

I'll be making a video later on it but anything that offers 50% resistance to X/Y elements I highly recommend as well as the +15% attack and +15% magic rings. Early game you can't transfer stats on accessories, so really you want to go with main stats first since you can't really be so picky

You have to set the target manually, but you can in fact make the AI all attack the same target. You can also just make them all attack different targets to apply pressure if you don't want to get interrupted by something you're not attacking in fights with lots of enemies. It's pretty useful. As for making the healer passive, shionne is the primary healer and her AI tries pretty hard to stay as far away from the action as it is since she's ranged. Frankly I thought she was off healing a bit too often when she she had the amount of damage output that she does

If you plan on farming for ores, then you want something that'll give you increased rarity or increased amount gained..if you feel like you just want more damage then you want to go with one that gives magic or attack..if you feel you need more defensive stats, then you want one that gives you defensive

@@pynkstrawberry3549 You should stack them on the character you mostly play as. The AI is garbage so giving them defensive buffs is fine but since the player character is the one targeted 90% of the time I would just stack all of the herbs on one character until they are maxed.

OK, I'm confused. I was trying to create a magic emblem with high earth damage. So, I created a magic to start, then added items, nearly all contained earth damage to bring the accessory to level five. In the end, earth element wasn't included in the list of skills. Does the skill of interest need to be in the "starter emblem"?

I'm not sure what you're asking? Are you asking if the skills/perks you want (Earth damage) need to already be on the accessory? If that's the question, then no it doesn't. You just have to find other accessory pieces with Earth damage on it already (typically the first substat slot will be a 7.5% and the next substat slots will be 15%, you can take the 15% instead of the 7.5%)

As I said, nearly every accessory piece I used to bring the emblem to level 5 had earth damage 7.5 or 15% in it, yet earth damage wasn't included in the final list of skills. I thought this was the case as the starting magic element didn't contain earth damage skill. So, you answered my question, I guess, but I still don't understand something about the process in how to get what I want.

@@mikeconcino4022 you'd just have to keep collecting around to try and find the substat you're wanting to transfer. I made a video showcasing all the ore locations as well, so you could use that as an Ore Farm Route or something. Make sure you use "Increased Ore Gain" or something like that so you have better chances of getting the substats you want. You really only need to go through like 3 regions before they reset the ores. This would be the fastest way of getting the substats you want.

Incorrect for Shionne, mystic crest with all cp -10 for the 4 slots. You want faster cast time on healing while reducing healing cost. Atleast you got rinwell and alphen correct , rinwell with max reduced cast time for high tier Astral arte spam Even on chaos difficulty you want mystic crest and all cp cost reduce for shionne, bc for instances where you might die from so much incoming damage with reckless abandon relic active...faster cast time means less death scenarios Also buying gels is an issue for you? Just farm gald

In theory yes, but realistically the enemy AI tends to go to whoever the player is playing..but if you're playing as Kisara with the increased aggro L, you'll be able to hold aggro way better. But this also doesn't mean it doesn't work for ally AI but it just feels not as needed as it should be

The first skill on each accessory is fixed and cannot be transferred. So the best you can put on slots 2 - 5 is -10%.

For Rinwell I used a stamina ring 50% chance to halve AG cost 4x Casting Time -5% I found this to be pretty balanced since once you start getting off combos with Rinwell the casting time reduces anyway and you can spam the higher tier Artes that cost 4 AG. Great video though!

This seems cool...except the unreliability of the half AG cost. What if you do consume the full AG? Combo cut short and your cast times aren't that heavily reduced. If you're theory crafting accessories, you first should realize the core accessory is the strongest effect. Rinwell doesn't really need halved AG to dish out heavy combos. Defeated enemies, critical hits, etc help restore them as should come as you dish out the right spells. Also you have ally boost strikes to restore some AG to continue combo strings longer. Properly played, you shouldn't be running out of AG late game without enemies dying before the bar is drained, or the enemy has forced you to dodge anyways.

no dude, try this. have any attack% you want. Then put counter attack damage 30%. Oddly enough, it works as long as the enemy is attacking, that's 30% right away. Imagine havingall 4. That's 120% more damage.
