BEST ADHESIVE FOR VAN BUILD SUB-FLOOR FRAMING

Which is the better adhesive to use for your van sub-floor framing? In this video I ran a few pull tests to see which bonds and holds best between the most popular adhesives used in building out your van.

Your test could not have come at a better time. I plan to install a floor in my campervan using aluminum tubbing. The adhesive that i plan to use is locktite PL Marine. I would greatly appreciate it if you could include the locktite pl marine in future tests.

Thanks, I'll be sure to add that to a future test. I did end up using the 3M 08690, paired with the 3M single step primer for gluing the aluminum tubes down in my current build.

How about for gluing a wood frame to the van floor??

Wood should work just as good. Would have to test how it hold with urethane based glues though. The FuseIT should work well for that.

Holy crap!! Bubble gum will work better than some of those. Do you happen to know the correct ASTM for proper testing? I may still have a account to log into from my Lab testing days.

No wasnt sure the ASTM spec. I just tried to run it constantly. I did a part 2 of the glue tests that brought better results. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZirlZxoYpqdfa8
