Thank you for this vid Chris! Sometimes I see creators doing hauls of 5-10 bottles at like 200-300$ a pop and I have to scratch my head? I don’t really know anyone in real life who can drop that kind of money regularly on smelly water. I realize some of it might be PR. Anyway, us regular peeps appreciate knowing about the good stuff at affordable price points. A huge YES to your ME frag recs!!! Thank you for this. I haven’t watched as much because of the cost of perfumes you talk about (and many others). It’s not me bashing anyone or being jealous just being realistic for my life and not wanting to spend time hearing about stuff that is way out of my budget. Mercedes Club Black was a huge discovery for me last year. It is my kind of vanilla. Starts with a burst of citrus fresh and immediately takes you into intriguing dark-ish vanilla spice incense sexiness. Not overwhelmingly sweet and truly addictive...and what a price!

My grandma got me I Love Love YEARS ago and I still have it and love it, I prefer it to Light Blue. She got me into perfume, I still have the EDP of Insolence by Guerlain in the UFO bottle she got me too. She passed away in 2010, and these perfumes and my love for perfume connect me to her still ❤ Karma was the first perfume I got myself as a teen, and at 30 still adore it. (Also love Dirty, Breath of God and others). My grandma got me as a granddaughter from one of her two sons, first girl in her side of the family in 80 years and I turned out to be into metal music, dye my hair dark, wear black and big military boots so I wasnt the girly girl she hoped for, but perfume transcended thar ❤

Chris, thank you for this video - I'm so intrigued by the Cremo - going to try it... (to add to my ever-present *Fancy* - 😉) - I actually recently got two new ones that *weren't* blind buys - we finally got a Sephora back in Cape Girardeau, so I don't have to travel *too* far to sniff (it's in a Kohl's, and doesn't have quite the selection that a stand-alone store would, I don't think, but it's better than nothing) - but since I got them, I can't smell them after the initial spray as well as I thought I would be able to (Devotion - I bought it before I saw your comparison with Bake - and Libré Le Parfum) - maybe I'm spraying too close to my face and going anosmic, IDK. I wouldn't mind paying more if I ever find my holy grail! I have only paid more that $200 twice - the most recent was Lancome Roses de Parfait - beautiful, but fleeting on me - and *years* ago, Amoureuse by Perfumes DelRae (now defunct, I believe) - blind-bought solely on the notes on Luckyscent, and it was so embarrassingly strong it was unwearable - you'd think that would have taught me a lesson about blind-buying, forever! I showed my daughter (who lives in Saint Charles, and is the volunteer manager for three hospitals there, starting today - I believe one of them is one of yours - 😊) - your channel this past weekend and told her she needed to subscribe! She is so sensitive where perfume is concerned (I usually go with *nothing* on when I'm around her) which is ironic because she makes the most beautiful (and STRONG) gourmand-y candles! ❤

Yes, I hope you can meet Mandy (Pratt)- she said she was wiped out today, but she said that she'd gotten her office, and that there was a lot to learn! Oh yes I’ve tried some of their perfumes and the best one BY far was “In The Stars”. Loved it and showed it here until they stopped making the perfume which was a huge shame because it was amazing!! I have a gagillion of their body creams….Id love to find another good perfume from them.

I finally got around to trying one of your favorite cheapies Rasana. It’s really nice. Definitely a fruitier, grapier kind of aventus/hacivat dna. I bought a bottle for my brother for Christmas as well. A few cheapies I’m waiting on are Paris Hilton just me for men (supposedly a dupe of aqua di gio but more aquatic and fruity) as well as Horizon by Guy Laroche. I’m obsessed with the bottle design of the latter. Have you ever tried SJP Lovely? It’s one of the best cheapies I’ve ever smelled.

Yes love Lovely! I’ve shown it in several of my “great affordable alternatives to more expensive perfume”. It smells similar to NR for Her which I love. I owned it for many years but finally decluttered because it’s too close to For Her EDP and EDT:, both of which I own.

Mercedes Benz is def less sweet and fruity. It has no fruity notes; only benzoin….which can give perfumes a subtle fruity thing. It’s a vanilla like SDV…..has the slight touch of an incense/smokiness.

I love your affordable perfume videos! I have been going back and forth about whether to get Qasamat Ebhar or Casablanca for quite awhile, so I am wondering what you think. Also, how is Ebhar's longevity? Oh and to answer your question. For Ebhar I get 4-6 hours, esp if I spray on clothes. I personally prefer the scent of Ebhar slightly more than Casablanca. If I had to narrow down between the two I would choose Ebhar. But Casablanca wins for longevity.

I wish I enjoyed an oil but I find them just too messy in reality. I love the Tihota-ish one from Whole Foods but ended up throwing it out after having it in my car for months. It smelled wonderful though. This one is not a budget friendly option but have your tried Oajan from PDM? I think it's very similar to Angel's Share but less sweet and far better longevity. It's a beast!
