Just before 1:30, you can see that you forgot to include the step that tells us to connect those redstone dust lines to the pistons. That got a lot of people pretty confused, and resulted in some incomplete farms.

This runs really fast and blows through bonemeal. It sometimes takes 20 or more bonemeal for a single tree to grow.

@@samueldavis3288yeah idk but I just extended my chest system so I can place 2 shulkers filled with bonemeal and I full up the whole farm before I run out so either you did something wrong or yours is just trippin but I know it works good from experience. Max you can get is 12 rows of wood well technically 13 but pistons can only push 12 blocks

The trees dont grow, dispenser spend one stack for each sappling, stand 10 min for 5 trees😢. And 1 tree need 5 stacks Bonemeal, Waste of time

I love your tutotrial bro, i made the supersmelter with a huge bamboo fuel farm connected to it so i have infinite fuel and than i connect a afk cobble gen to it so i can just afk for infinite stone for building expanding my brickstone base so i will for sure hook up a bonemealfarm to a woodfarm to, works out really good, thanks for all your help in making these

Love this design but for me i just do it manually on jungle trees or spruce. It saves so much bonemeal. I find if the saplings dont have open space they can take 10x for example more bonemel to grow a sapling.

well if you think that the best tree farm means 27 stacks of bonemeal = 2 stacks of wood then its the best and just to put it to perspective i had a farm (not the best) and it gave a 1:1 ratio (with oak like this one) but i think i found a fix you break all the leaves that arent behind the sapling (above and infront of pistons) but that removes the ONLY afk aspect the results explain themselves 2 stacks XD

If anyone needs help on making this farm function properly, Add redstone repeaters next to the pistons. Make sure the arrow and prongs are facing towards them. You have to make some minor adjustments to your redstone paths. Keep some slabs in hand to prevent redstone from intersecting paths. Edit: I’ve built this farm attempted to use repeaters, make minor adjustments to the redstone path, and all worked as expected.

This farm is cool if you are starting out! But lots of bonemeal used up so prepare for that. Probably specific to Oak, Birch & spruce trees as there are no secondary block movers. Check out silentwhisper for a more efficient, in depth, and toggleable, late game farm (for Bedrock)

Not for me. Far too complex and expensive. Not looking for all of that, and also don't want access to all or most tree types. I just need a simple & less costly auto tree farm to get extra logs, because I'm building a huge storage bank, and will need LOTS of large chests. However, seeing as people are complaining about this tutorial having some steps missing, I think I'll go with JC Plays' tutorial. He may sound "bored" or "robotic" according to some, but he gets shh done for us Bedrockers. That's what matters. 🙂👌

The sapplings wont grow at all.. just tried it out with the first part ready (the pistons and the dispenser) if I put a sappling down and start dispencing the bonemeal., it will just waste stacks but do nothing

Here at tip I had the same problem replace the floating block with a glass block say your looking up at the block like if u are under it place a temporary block on the left side them out 2 pistons under the temporary block facing the glass block right after the first 2 repeaters connect the pistons up with the redstone btw use glass blocks so it does not mess up the redstone this will make it so no matter what the tree can grow then just break the leafs when done and make a skeleton farm that what is did to fix the problems

The pistons will only make 13 rows of trees. You can only afk about an hour and will have to harvest the trees. Great farm though. Lots of wood.

not to be mean but you should look up what conditional probability is. you cant add up percentages, the probability of getting a sapling without fortune or looting enchantment ect is 64.15%, not 100%. This is because the events are mutually exclusive.
