Thanks for the design! I built a platform off the backside of it and put a fisherman villager there to help get rid of the junk fish. If you zombify him 2x, you can get trades of 1 coal/emerald, 1 raw cod/emerald, 1 raw salmon/emerald, 1 tropical fish/emerald AND 1 pufferfish/emerald. The last two are especially useful if you build this in a warm ocean or have an AFK fish farm. The farm itself CRANKS out fish really well and gives a ton of bonemeal. Definitely supercharged my world

This is cool, i built a wee dirt platform at the afk spot so i can use the bone meal to grow trees, all the tree drops fall in the water and are collected by the hopper minecart.

Soul Sand floor, a couple allays, a noteblock deposit system and a glass enclosure. Fish shoot to the surface where they suffocate. Allays pick up the bits and toss them into your storage system. Enclosure keeps the allays in the farm.

I just built this in survival, I built it near warm water where tropical fish spawned as it increased the spawn rates, but the signs were preventing the fish from hitting the magma blocks as I tested it by going afk for 5 min and only got 3 bones, so I removed all the signs and the fish stopped getting stuck, and then I went afk again for 5 min and got 19 bones, so I would highly suggest removing the signs if it seems the fish seem to be getting stuck. I also built the wall 1 row higher because fish seemed to be jumping over the walls, and now the farm works amazing!

Good tip this. Thanks for the removing the sign suggestion. Works much better now. Had to raise the walls by 2 blocks though as the cod was still getting off the back and sides near the corners

Same for me after testing thanks for the tip! I also noticed every now and again fish spawn in groups and knock each other over the wall. I built mine up a bit more to prevent this

Anyone else having issues with the farm not spawning fish? Currently on 1.20.30. Have checked that I am low enough (below y63), and no fish are spawning. When I was building the farm I had some things spawn but once it was finished nothing has spawned since.

Me as soon as i saw this video: That is a bonemeal farm, that is an emrald farm. Because you can get emeralds from the fisherman which is a type of villager that trades fish for emeralds.

I was curious, can I build this in the ocean right next to my iron farm? I live on a very secluded island and have a great iron farm going about 150 blocks away. I was afraid having both so close might mess it up? Yet, it seems like a perfect place for all my farms.

I think the thing that can mess up an iron farm is if there is any villager in the radius of 100 blocks, and this farm doesn't need any villager so i think it's safe (?)

In the lake, mob spawning rate is low that's why farms like this or Creeper or Drowned farm are built in the open ocean far away from land. The lake has a low rate of spawning mobs.

Figured it out, wasn't building far enough away from the shore. Was about 15-20 blocks away and upped it to 25-30 blocks away from shore. Not having any issues anymore 👍

The beat bone meal farm is automatic kelp farm that grows every second put a composter block at the bottom you will get like 20 stacks a hour

Prob will never work on java the way fish spawn at a farther distance and almost seemingly not from the radius like in bedrock. I built it anyway.. and the fish kept spawning when i stood some 100b above the area, the bubbles disappeared before the fish were in the middle, and the fish stopped moving.

Easiest? Hmmmm, no :D There are much easier ways! Mainly because the huge amount of soul sand (which if you dont spawn in a neearby area in the Nether you will suffer a lot to obtain!)
