Completely laughable review. Ive had 2 coway ap1512 air purifiers for over 5 years and they have almost no impact on dust filtration. At best, you have to keep the fan speed on level 2-3 to notice any impact at all. The Coway air purifiers don't have a tight enough seal between the unit and the HEPA filter to offer much in the way of dust filtration.

I would disagree too. I have owned a Coway Airmega 200 (exact same model as the AP1512) air purifier for over a year and the dust filtration has proven to be very effective. That's why it's rated #1 by Wirecutter and the NY Times.

@@ethanhagen6995 311i Max. There are mixed reports about some Levoit 400S units making weird motor noises on the lower speed setting. I didn't want to take the chance on getting a bad one. So far, the 311i Max has been working very well for me. On low, with the lights turned off, you can barely tell it's on at all; and the particle detector even responds when I spray on my deodorant in the morning. The Blueair phone app is a little wonky, but the 311i Max itself is better than I’d expected.
