Best all-around fishing pole I've ever used. Berkley Cherrywood

I have the same one you are talking about here and i love it. Like you said you can fish a variety of baits with it. Right now I have an Abu Garcia Blackmax reel on it. It's one of my favorite combos.

I've cought tons of big snakehead and bass on my 7 foot medium cherrywood. Sometimes I dont get a very good hooksett on snakehead over 6lbs cuz their mouths are really hard but other then that it's a solid rod.

Been using a medium baitcasting 7’ cherrywood for most of My treble hook lures and it’s never done me wrong, last week caught 5.5lb Peackock Bass and it handled it no problem

Got my 6’6 medium heavy casting rod and am loving it. I’m a budget fisherman. I’m not that fortunate enough to go all out on brands. The Cherry Rods HD Still gets the job done and catch more fishes than some of my friends expensive rod and reels.

Did not watch the video but anyone wondering if they should buy it, hell yes. I have 3-18g 213cm cherrywood hd with penn battle 3 (2k) and i’ve catched pikes, perches and zanders with it. Next weekend i am going to river look for trout. Looking forvard to see how my set up handles it🤩 cheers from Finland🫡

MaRz YT I would recommend the abu Garcia silver max as an excellent reel. They are great for starting out all the way to pro! My two main crankbait rod’s that is the only reel I’ll throw. They are only $49 at Academy generally. I do like the whole line up of Abu Garcia reels I just think the silver max is the best affordable reel that’s made today. If you need help tuning it or have any problems let me know I’ll help you out!! So glad at 13 your into fishing there is a lot of good fun and excitement and knowledge to be obtained all you have to do is want it.

DropShotScott Absolutely love them. The only thing I’ve found they can’t take is an overhanging limb or trolling motor top during the cast. I’ve broke three or four doing this. My mistake though. My son caught a 8.5 lb bass on one of his this year in a nasty lay down. It was a heck of a fight but he and the cherrywood were the winners! Thank you for watching!!

@@dropshotscott4762 They are all different for senkos I only use an old Shakespeare spinning rod for senkos and the only time I’ll do it is if I have no clue of any other way to catch fish. If your in clear water that may be your only resort but in slightly stained water there are a lot of other tricks I’ll do first!
