Sounds similar but has less base response than U87 vintage. That's a good thing too. You need less PP.

Yes. There are GTZ U 87, U87S, U 87 +(with RK 47 capsules). It is confusing which one sounds better.

​@@SoniqSounds One GTZ U 87 version claims 129 db output. You claim 137 db output level. There are U 87, U 87S, U87+ (with RK 47 capsules). Pl. clear which version have you used. Pl. also compare NAUMANN U 87ai with all these three versions.

What version did you buy? there are several on the manufacturer's site... GTZ87+, GTZ87 vintage, GTZ87 4A or GTZ87? what about the noise floor on the mic? thanks

I liked the one I have in the link. Noise floor is as much as my Manley reference. Will depend on how well treated the recording environment is.

The Neumann is informed and I hope the man assembling these mikes will should pay for this. You should remove the link to this mike as well as this video.
