hi tati! what you’re calling duochromes (especially lightworks) are actually multichromes! you can see more than two colors. mac blue brown is duo, but danessa, clionadh and all of those indie brands tend to do multichromes.

I swear you look more stunning with each video. I don't know exactly how to describe the aesthetic of the look you have going here. I love how other people wear eyeshadow! I own like 3 small luxury eyeshadow palettes, but I only wear basic, neutral shades. I love shimmery and colourful palettes, but I don’t buy them because I know I won’t wear them. They’re beautiful though! The intensity of the colours is astonishing ❤

I'm a simple woman: I see Lightwork IV, I click. I'm glad it's in the #1 position for you. It's one of the most expensive palettes I've ever bought for myself, but definitely one of my top ones as well. The shadows just perform so incredibly and are so stunning... The less is more concealer concept was a game changer for me. Robert Welsh does such a good demo of this! My under eye lines went away by 50%, with another 30-40% going when I found the right concealer for my personal under eye. Do your research and you might need to try different ones. Elf Camo concealer is everyones fav from the drugstore it seems, but even the hydrating one sucked for me. I ended up with NYX HD concealer after researching top concealers

This was such a fun and enjoyable video. The three palettes that caught my eye the most were “Sweet tart cravings” palette from Tarte (I have literally never been drawn to this brand but those shades of purple are literally some of my favourites) (16:31), “The new mod mini” palette from Sigma (this is one of the most beautiful palettes and the size is perfect for me) (7:02) and “The Pure Nude” from Catrice (14:59), though I never liked brown shadows it is calling for me.

For the Elf Liquid Glow I only use it under foundation (or over) & just in the outer areas of my face. I'm combo/oily and using it all over or mixed with foundation can be the extra step to making me look oily or slick. It's pretty and my fave routine using it as the former.

The whiteish and pink middle row shades in the Dynessa Myricks (i butchered that spelling) are AMAZING. Especially the white one (which becomes light pink… seafoam green… omg gorgeous). I can tell just by the way that you handle your shadows so delicately why it’s not working for you. Best thing to do it use pressure with your pinky like you’re taking eye cream from a lil jar until you get a good sized flake on your finger. That flake will spread on your eyelid/swatch like a dream. It is cream shadow in flake form until you press it. Just remember, at least the first few times, you have to dig in there with a lil pressure to get a flake (think of maybe if half the nail polish on your pointer finger chipped off - that size and consistency. And don’t use a brush) Hope that helped. I know you’re going to be obsessed when you try it. It’s my favorite thing in the whole palette.

The last one really blown me away. I’m not into some kind of metallic so much colour eyeshadows. But that really reminds me of my fav. Bug back home. Which are golden tortoise beetle.
