If you get Shot Scope v3 instead of Arccos, you get the shot tracking, as well as a GPS watch and with no yearly fees. Currently about £167 on Amazon.

Holidays are upon us already 😐. I would be difficult to buy for since I buy what I want when I want and have more than enough stuff. A big bag of tee pegs is also a good idea, you don’t want to buy them, but receiving them as a gift is cool, grandson gave me some last year and I needed them this season. A cool ball marker is another good idea.

Well it looks like Golf Monthly just sullied my Christmas gift idea of novelty golf balls. 😒

Having watched the rest of the video: another bad gift ist arccos - or any other gift where you need a yearly subscription to use it.

Ladies buying for their partner! Didn’t realise this was a video from the 50s. Come on guys you can do better than that.

Do ladies not buy golf stuff and gifts for their partners anymore? I must have missed that

Good shout Neil. Sadly, some unconscious bias going on there. Hopefully they’ll see your comment and improve.

@@LM-if2xp It's the assumption that if you're a golfer then you are a man and that if you are a man you're partner will be a woman that's the issue. Both show bias towards the status quo (patriarchal and homophobic). Christmas is a whole other matter. 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️💙

@@nuttyknatty you are just trying to find something offensive from a completely innocent statement.

@@snazzycoastermemes6798 Oh don’t get me wrong, I’m not offended. I’m an ardent supporter that free speech should be protected. And I agree, I think this an innocent statement without any malice intended. I’m just trying to shine a light on how these statements, almost certainly without realisation, and in a really small degree, enable the prevailing culture to continue to exist. And certainly there is a danger that we become so concerned about what we say and how we say it that we stop contributing to the dialogue. It’s interesting.
