There's nothing fans love more than listening to Harloff's constant "I hate talking about the things that fans are interested in" and "I'm bored, what's next" every fucking show he's on. Maybe it's time for Harloff to find something else to do, and let people who want to do the shows take over?

@kelsiewilliams74176 жыл бұрын
Dear Kristian, First, you work for Collider Video which was built on talking movies so of course that's what people are looking for when they come here. Second, while I really enjoy hearing you talk other random things on this show, I think that the addition of movie conversation is essential to the draw of the show. I mean let's be honest, there are plenty of other similar radio shows and podcasts for people to tune into. I do think that you should inject more content into the non-movie discussions because sometimes it's too meandering or just too inside baseball.
@molsy17686 жыл бұрын
I don't think you understand the point of collider live. If you want movie talk, then watch the show called movie talk...
@kelsiewilliams74176 жыл бұрын
@@molsy1768 I dont think you completely read what I said so...
@molsy17686 жыл бұрын
@@kelsiewilliams7417 no I did, you don't seem to understand that collider is branching out and trying all sorts of stuff. there's no need to make every show about movies
@kelsiewilliams74176 жыл бұрын
@@molsy1768 well perhaps you read it but I dont think you understood it. I know that the show is not about movies. I like the show not being completely about movies. But the show needs a draw for audiences that sets it apart from other radio shows and similar podcasts, and movie discussion is the obvious choice since they have a built in fan base that follows them for just that kind of content. Without a little movie talk injected into the show, what is the draw for anyone that doesn't already know the Collider personalities? I mean, the show is hosted and populated by people who have a fan base because of talking movies. Also, note the part where I said that I would like them to add more content to the show that isn't related to movies.
@molsy17686 жыл бұрын
@@kelsiewilliams7417 the mistake you're making there is assuming that people that watch collider live watch it because we know them from movie talk, but I find that isn't the case. Literally every single one of their shows is about some form of media, so why shouldn't they have one that's different? Collider live is for a different audience than movie talk

Did any of the Collider crew see the film MANDY? Such a unique vision of a basic revenge story...base emotion. I know you all see so many movies, I cant imagine it would stay out of the conversation if it had been seen. Such a work of visual storytelling, it deserves more critical attention, in my opinion. It is NOTHING like every other movie I've seen in years. Probably the most exciting new director out there, WEIRD, but the world might need more weird.

A lot of this best lists at the end of each year seem like slight variations of the same thing, especially coming from those within the industry. I think it shows how important campaigning is. My best movie of the year I'm not sure a lot of people saw, and that's Blindspotting. Rafael Casal should be getting heavy consideration for best supporting actor this season. Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal should also be getting best original screenplay consideration.
