I yesterday went to st johns town center and for the first time ever (I’m not from the U.S) went inside a Barnes and noble (it was a surreal experience for me) and got 2 books which one of them I’ve been wanting for the longest time and the other I heard about on booktube, the books I got were the silent patient and the perfect marriage and I can’t wait to read them both

I read No Exit and it was just fine in my opinion. However there was a casual dropping of the n-word that was super unnecessary so I won’t be reading Taylor Adams books period.

@@faithsreadingthings it was towards the one black character in the book too so I was shocked 😭 I would understand if you read it out of curiosity because of all the hype around it though. I will say I’m not entirely sure if it was republished and they took that scene out because I’ve only heard a couple people say something about it so 🤷🏾‍♀️

Why would you spoil the plot twist of a thriller in the first minutes of the video with no warning???? I’m so sad I was going to read it this month 😭 lost a subscriber :(((((

That wasn’t my intention at all and i really don’t feel like it’s that big of a spoiler cause you still have no idea what I’m talking about or what the reveal would be. You can still read the book and be surprised.

@@faithsreadingthings I apologise for my reaction, even if i was upset about hearing a spoiler i should have kept more polite. Still you directly mentioned a plot point that could have surprised future readers like myself, however minor you think it may be. There are also other comments on here saying it's a spoiler, even people that have read the book, so i'm not the only one that noticed. With this in mind, in the future, please steer away from specifying what any of the plot twists are, especially (but not only) in thrillers, and if you do please warn your audience so we can skip if we don't want to know.
