What's messed up, is my new phone came with Facebook pre installed and I can't uninstall it. My no root firewall let me know Facebook was up to something. Don't you have to agree to their user agreement for them to spy on you? I blocked everything from it. I hate Facebook.

Hi I am able to disable the built in apps on my unlocked google pixel 5a. THere wasn't much bloat to begin with because I know not to buy carrier supplied BS. Do I truly NEED to root my phone in this case? I heard it's hard to get updates and updates do secure devices against hacks!

If you have to ask, then I would say.... DO NOT root your phone !! Unless you are an expert, rooting your phone can cause you more problems than it can solve! One major problem rooting can cause, is it can make your phone easier to hack!
