@@KevinBreeze hi there, Kevin! I got my a11 last week and everything is pretty alright about it. (Notably: camera does well with good lighting) one major issue is that I have washed out colors on my screen. I did tune it up with some color calibrator though. Did you see the same on your a11?

Yeah i've had mine for two years and i dropped with screen protector and it didnt even leave a mark on phone screen underneath. Absolutely a great phone had it for almost 2 years.

Hey, could you start talking about the AMOLED smearing of different phones in your reviews? Having migrated from a J5 (2016) to an A71, I had no idea that AMOLED screens have black and other dark colours 'smear' on low levels of brightness. So far it is proving difficult to get used to, but before now the only things I had heard about Samsung's AMOLED screens is how much better they are compared to other screen types. I know that it has been gotten used to by most people, but I have also heard that it is less noticeable on higher-end phones compared to midrangers; if this is true, would you consider talking about the level of smearing for dark colours when on low brightness settings in your reviews? Thanks

I purchased the Umidigi S5 Pro for $199 and it will put all these phones to shame. AMOLED screen, pop up camera 📸, 256GB storage with 6GB of RAM. MT G90T processer that will run circles around these phones. Great battery life and all the necessary bands for GSM phones. This is a the best choice by far.

How is that camera software on Umidigi though? They have a bad rep in that area with very few updates.

@@ThirdEyeGoat369 definitely true when it comes to updates with Umidigi phones. But surprisingly right off the box the S5 pro camera is very good. It's no flagship by any means but for the price it's definitely good enough and it's the best camera phone they have ever produced. I've only gotten one update since the release and I'm still on May security patch but the phone works flawlessly and the specs are just too good to pass up in the $200 range.

Companies put too much effort into the camera. I had a single photography project in high school. I prefer a snappy interface and smooth game performance over how much storage I can waste with superfluously-sized photos. 1080p is adequate.

Hi there, I don't update my phones every year or every two years or when the next new model comes out so forgive me if I'm asking some stupid questions. The last phone I purchased was the Sony Xperia XZ premium (best new phone at MWC 2017). It has a 20 Mega pixel camera and full HD video recording. I do not play any gaming on it and for the last three years have been using it as my youtube video camera. In comparison to all these new phones, which one should I get, based on my activity above. I'd like to maintain the camera quality where possible. Thanks.

The only thing that makes these a deal breaker is the lcd 720p displays. There should be budget phones that still have 1440p amoled displays. With stuff like samsung, we all know it's so expensive because of the brand not the components.

Yeah. They're not locked to a carrier so you can take it to any carrier and get it activated. Also there won't be any of that bloatware

Please get the 2020 se or mabey even a iPhone XR (Xr is also cheap currently) if you have too get a cheap iPhone, the 2020 se or Xr will last you 4-5 good years while the iPhone 7 Plus will stop being supported in 1 or 2 years. But if you only like big phones then your gonna have to get a cheap android. But the Xr has a big screen anyways.

I remember paying like $189 like 4-5 years ago for my ZTE Zmax Pro that was one of the very first budget smartphones that had 6" display, fingerprint scanner, and wait for it...full HD 1080 display. Does anyone know if any of these will work with Boost Mobile? Every time I inquire about ANY phone for Boost in the past, customer service needs the info from the actual phone. I'd rather not buy every phone to find out.

With the unlocked phones if it works on AT&T it's a sub carrier from my experience boost is a GSM band the customer service people are trying to get u to buy a boost phone that is locked to there carrier they should for no reason denied u from bringing the phone hope helps
