Business questions Moveit@brotherbearmovers.com Mentorship available
@karl28560 Жыл бұрын
If you want to local move... 1. Rent a rental truck. 2. Minimun of 2 man crew. (3 is better). 3. Minimum time (usually 3 working hours) to do the job. 4. Give yourself one day for a job. 5. Stay within your state boundry (still local). 6. Spend a summer working for another. Pick their brain on prices, how to maneuver heavy items, how to repair. 7. Go to library and read a book on household moving. Make copies of example forms you can use. 8. Make up business cards.

Roadie works. I use it everyday, you just have to bid on multiple jobs and they will eventually accept your job. It doesn't take that many bids and once you get one accepted you can continue to bid for more jobs while you're running the one you got accepted. It was harder in the beginning for me when I didn't have that many gigs completed.

@amandarespeto5 ай бұрын
Not a huge fan of Roadie. There were so many gigs they would deny me for even though I had a pickup truck and could do them. I would pick an order sit there for HOURS for them to say that the order was canceled.
@mr.khalilbashir5 ай бұрын
@@amandarespeto Sounds odd. At most Roadie usually take about 15 minutes or less for you to know yes or no on a Gig. You do have to put in multiple bids sometimes but not a crazy amount. Once they accept you for a gig they pretty much never cancel or back out unless you took way too long to get to the pickup point.
@amandarespeto5 ай бұрын
@@mr.khalilbashir yes it is supposed to be for 15 minutes. I will get accepted for little jobs like prescriptions but "huge" gigs I would get denied. It literally says "fits in back of pickup truck" and I'll see if it will accept me. It ends up just sitting there for hours. No one is getting them so I don't understand. I can't reapply for them cuz it states that it won't give you another chance to submit your offer. Have had a real hard time with them for anything that makes for my truck.

Directly to Your bank account that is required for you to link when setting up your account. Most of these apps allow you to get your money today of but has a small $1 or $2 fee. Or you can wait weekly to get it direct deposited into your bank account for free..

The bank told me if I link my bank account like that, they can take money out of your account? So that made me not want to sign up to get paid through any app. That's not true is it???
@mikel28872 ай бұрын
@@BethStoner-t8v what you could do is open up basically a sweep account. Get a 2nd checking account that is linked to your main (IE electronic transfer). Once you get paid, pull most of the money back into your main account. They can only potentially pull out what is in the account, not more. Most likely, your bank can help you so it can't be hacked.
