completely understand why more room and shorter clearance on cargo van will impact your business if you deliver for money where “more “space means more packages more $$$. But these are also purchased by tradesmen like Hvac, Electricians, plumbers, painters etc. And when working in high rise buildings shorter roof is gold when trying ti squeeze your work van in a tiny garage. They come in handy my friend !
@Tony.Ruiz085 ай бұрын
Correct. You’re 100% correct. But I am in the transportation industry, so the more space the better. I understand other vans serve different purposes but if you want more money in this type of business, the bigger the better.

Your channel is pretty nice. I doubt I have. In case I wrap my van and set some tools organizers for my project, can I still get some loads here and there ? I'm asking because I stil work as w2 for a company and the van will be for my own company, but the transition from w2 to full self-employment is a bit scary, specially because I don't have work every day. Having the hability to get some random loads would help to make tha transition more smoothly.

Hello. I'm a beginner. I have a 97 Toyota T100 3.4l V6 5sp manual transmission extra cab 8'x5 bed pickup truck hitch 2"ball looking for loads. Does the site fit or do you know any other websites that I can use my pickup truck as a hauling, delivering any materials. If this site works please let me know step by step what requirements and what do I need to do. Also do I need dot and Mc numbers?

Indeed works for most vehicles as long as you follow their requirements. No DOT or MC Needed. There apps you can use for your pickup as well.

I know it's gotta be a major headache to drive in New York.

Haha it’s insanity! Check out the very last video I posted as I show/talk about it.

how do you get loads? do you have your own dispatcher?
@Tony.Ruiz085 ай бұрын
These are contracts I’ve acquired over the time. I don’t deal with many people, just pick up and deliver. You can check if you can find some contracts/routes in your area using Indeed and check out the requirements as well.

what is your opinion in 2005 Ford e-series e150 3dr cargo van with less than 200k miles for 3300$
@Tony.Ruiz083 ай бұрын
Sounds like a good deal. If it runs good, trans is good and no rust/body in good shape. But then again, it’s like rolling a dice, it could be full of problems.

I did small moves in my old Sprinter 2001 LWB High Roof that i used as a camper as well. Don't necessarily recommend that but it was ok. I think the large van got me a lot more work. Just big enough to do quite large items . Ie Ping Pong tables , large fridges that you don't need to lay down. I could even move whole living room couches and chairs . 💺

The bigger the better! At least when it comes to the transportation industry. You still doing it?

Hello brother 👋 I just saw this video and I love how you are doing this. Also how do you connect with business partners to run this business around the local city?
@Tony.Ruiz084 ай бұрын
Just networking, asking around, putting myself out there. Finding contracts on indeed, applying, calling and selling my services. Any way you can bro! Glad you enjoyed the video!

Just bought a 2010 ford transit connect. Any words of advice or encouragement would be greatly appreciated. I’m looking to get into finding contract routes myself

Where are you located? Have you tried looking for routes on Indeed? Or other job searching websites? Using key words like: “Courier” “Independent contractor cargo van” “owner operator cargo van” & everything in between. Look into some gig apps also. Curri & task-rabbit are popular in my area but it might be different for you. I know a few guys working from a few at the same time. Just gotta find the demand.

You got this bro, start hitting up your local logistics companies. It would be even better if you have a website offering contracting services. Try to get free web hosting. Take pictures of your van, submit them to your website, work on your about us and pictures, pictures, pictures.
