For those of us who would like a list… I Helmet: Unbreaking 3, mending, prot 4, thorns 3, aqua affinity (optional) , respiration 3 (optional) chest plate: unbreaking 3, mending, prot 4, thorns 3 leggings: same as chest plate but swift sneak 1-3 is optional boots: same as chest plate + feather falling 4, depth strider 3, and soul speed 3 (optional)

For anyone doing this in survival get all the enchantments for each specific armour piece on a specific book and then add it to that armour piece as it will get too expensive if you don't and is also cheaper on levels

tip: before going into the nether, put fire protection on your golden piece of armor for when you protect yourself from piglins, since you know that you only use that gold piece of armor when going in the nether.

Thorns makes your armour lose durability way faster, so its kind of necessary to keep your armour from breaking

Some platforms (mine included) actually display it as Mending I. Otherwise, that’s just its technical name because most if not all armor enchantments have a level name. Another example is Aqua Affinity I, which only has one level but is still referred to as Aqua Affinity I.

If you put mending and unbreaking that wont matter, and thats why i didnt put much emphasis on it. plus if your enchanting your armor at this point its mostly diamond or netherite, so like 1000+ durability
