There's a better way, did it on Xbox one anniversary edition. Just get yourself a ton of apples and enough to buy one chocolate. Go to the store trader, when you have the sell apple menu up while in the food section, highlight sell all, quickly and semi simultaneously (press left THEN A button on Xbox very quickly), If you're successful you should see the singular chocolate as well as the exact number of apples you can sell, pressing sell now will sell chocolates at the same amount of apples you have but with keeping the number of apples you have. Re-buy the chocolate and do the same process until you can buy 1 health potion, then repeat it using potions until you can buy a ressurection phial, then repeat this using the ressurection phial to have infinite money. Did this the day before Thanksgiving. Have fun.

Aaaaah shit, what's funny is that I have a whole video on the Fable Anniversary trading exploit, and somehow I never connected the dots to using that trick in conjunction with this one to make it easier! Also, that trading glitch allows you to buy more potions than the trader actually has, which is especially useful for heroic mode (xbox doesn't have heroic mode, but it's a harder, more limited version of the game, and all the shopkeepers only have 2 or 3 of each potion, as well as no resurrection phials.)

You can sell potions and perfumes that way as well. It also helps that duplicating appless till they reach 9999 quantity by buying them with same trick.

You're all goobers, it's menu manipulation and can be used on anything, including gems, just go dupe diamonds and become instantly rich, cmon guys if it works in one area try it in another, menu manipulation can be used basically anywhere

Just a heads up if your doing this to prevent the greyed out sell you have to have one item in your inventory if you have the pie after giving the servant for some reason the game doesnt register it as still in your inventory when you sell so just have at least one other item if you picked up more of the apples than needed for the quest dont sell them and you'll be good

This is a great video and a good explanation of the trade exploit. Totally valid if you want to gear up before you graduate, but it is definitely tedious, and ultimately unnecessary because if you wait until after graduation you can get it done in Bowerstone much faster and the armor merchant has all the plate pieces available.

I believe that if you have more than 1 sellable item in your inventory the sell tab doesnt grey out, otherwise thats just an xbox thing.

I already tried this, the items don't show up again until you refresh the trade screen, even if the button isn't greyed out. I had a feeling someone would mention this, and I should have gone more in depth about it in the video

I have recently discovered that for some reason this only applies with the guild trader (not sure if it's only during guild training or all the time), I have tried doing the trading exploit in bowerstone/oakvale and it allows me to go back and forth between buy/sell no problem, wheras in the beginning of the game, even if I had multiple items to sell (in order to keep the button from grey-ing out) I would still have to re open the trade window to refresh my sell inventory every time.

I discovered if you have one resurrection phial in your items at the guild(do not sell), the sell tab wont he greyed out. Just do the will test and you will receive one.

Easier to just wait till you leave the guild for the first time and get emeralds then head to Oakvale. It might not be before leaving training but it is a lot better on the mind.

The idea of this is to get what would normally shouldnt be obtainable as a child Of course your options expand once you leave the guild. Don't even have to go to oakvale, just have to go to bowerstone and glitch into bowerstone north to get full bright plate and the solus greatsword

@@PTMG True and while I'm not sure it works every-time I did notice that when using an obsidian sword during the test with Maze it didn't count as a hit, same with the ebony bow. If it works and you were determined I guess you could sit there and beat the heck out of Maze (flourish with the sword) till you have all the exp you need. I only did this once though so I'm not sure it works all the time. If you ever give it a try give me a holler if it works :)

It only counts as a hit on maze if you use the training weapons i.e. the iron longsword and the whatever bow you start with (oak?) I dunno if you get exp from maze or not though, but if you did I don't see why it wouldn't be effecting by combat multiplier. Assuming hitting him with the wrong weapons will give you any multiplier at all Would be worth checking out tho Especially in combination with another glitch I heard of recently where you can hero save between the point where you spend your first exp points and the point where it autosaves and you complete the guild training. I haven't pulled it off but a sub has.

i bought the apples and one chocolate, does the trick to buy the first potion after 5 transactions, then the chocolate gets so cheap i buy them all and sell all the apples but one, to duplicate them at the cost of 1 gold, won't get any profit but you get thousands of apples, sell the chocolate, buy all the apples and then the health potion, sell it and boom hundreds thousands gold before leaving. going to bowerstone and buy all the gifts and sell them the same way, if you know the glitch to go to the north buy the gifts there and sell all that will allow maximum gold which is 9999999

Theres a sell glitch where if you have let's say 100 apples and one mana portion you start to sell the apples and when you are able to select how much go to potion section you can sell 100 mana potions and boom lots of money and you can do it in heroic mode

I'm not sure if that will work, but at the same time I'm not sure if it won't. Since there's no more hero save function there's no real way to do it multiple times But at the same time you are able to do like a checkpoint save or some sort of like quick save during quests. I'm not quite sure what it's limitations are, but saving and reloading will start you back at the beginning of the quest, but you don't seem to keep any gold or items you obtained. That being said, I'm not sure if this applies for every other attribute or just some. For instance I don't know yet if experience is or is not saved with on of these quick saves, or hero age etc. So I think I might have to try it out just in case ;)

I think you might have to start again It might have something to do with how quickly you progress through the beginning of the game, like if you take too long to get to the point of buying the apples, he might have "sold some" already and have less in stock for you to buy alternatively you should be able to just literally wait for the days to pass and for the shopkeeper to restock on inventory but that would take a while

After giving it some thought though, perhaps even it is intentional? Having the character look like a servant from the get go kinda makes you feel less like a hero when you aren't one, while you slowly start to get experience and strength and get bigger and bulkier, and get weird mage lines all over your body and tatoos and stuff. I mean eventually you end up looking like quite a hero no matter what your face looks like, but perhaps you aren't meant to resemble a hero so early on in the game.

@@PTMG while trading you can duplicate items, as shown here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/boS7mqagqpt-iMU It can also be developed to be more effective you just need to have all the green apples you can have and one potion, then sell the potion as of the quantity of the apples then sell one apple then buy the Green apple with quantity of the potions in the traders inventory. Then buy one potion and replicate it again till you have 9999 apples now you can sell anything consumable in the up of its inventory subsection, chocolates perfumes and life potions are best candidates. You can duplicate any item as long as it is at the top of its subsection in inventory under the consumable.

Quite frankly, this exploit is neat but you are far better off leaving the guild and grinding a few levels of guile then rocking the trade exploit with the trader just inside of Bowerstone S. It takes less time and you'll net more profits. With a few levels of guile you only need like 15-20 or so in a stack to turn a profit as well. Also, the trader in the guild is the absolute worst profit margin in the game, turning shallow profits with maximum guile. Better off buying and selling the apples from the bartender aren't you? Although I don't think it makes a difference with no levels in guile it's probably still only 1gp per apple.

There's obviously better ways but it's more about just doing a weird random challenge. And there's something to be said for annihilating whisper in one hit during training lol. That's wild Are you still able to mostly play the game? I would try progressing to the point of guild training where you actually get the bow, then use the right mouse button to aim with the bow (the way you normally would get the crosshair up) then backing out of the aiming mode might fix it. I would recommend reinstalling the game though. Delete the whole game folder then re install.

PlokTheMasterGamer i mean technically you could do it without leaving the guild. Just would be very tedious. You can farm experience off of Maze during your final test. I don’t think you can farm will sadly cause he will strike you back however during either melee or will portion of you shoot him with the bow from a certain distance he won’t block it and he can’t strike back cause he doesn’t have a range weapon either. You’d have to train your skill experience really high, use it at the level up thing and then redo to turn that experience into general exp to use towards will. Again quite tedious and somewhat pointless when you can go much quicker by just doing a few quests outside the guild. But it depends how OP you want to be before leaving

You can use the summoning exploit to get the sword of Aeons early, or you can do the crouch and roll glitch thing to try to get into bowerstone north early, and then get the solus greatsword. Other than that honestly I think it's just master greatsword. There are a few legendary weapons you can get early on like Wellows Pickhammer, or the Cutlass Bluetane, but they aren't all that strong compared to other legendary weapons, or even master weapons. For instance the wellows pickhammer does like 120 damage which is pretty damn low honestly. I think Cutlass Bluetane does like 165. The master greatsword does over 200 damage.

I know this is two years old now but if you have a cooking apple in your inv then it keeps the sell window highlighted making it faster as well as skipping the dialogue with the trader.

You should be able to I have never played the Xbox version but I see no reason why they would be different, especially in regards to difficulty setting. It would flabbergast me if they decided to hard lock the game on Heroic Mode for the Xbox version.

Lol what the intro? For the record in editing I make the intro 10db quieter than everything else. The whole video gets audio compression at the end anyways, which normalizes all the levels a bit, but the intro is still quieter than the rest of the video, and the whole video is quieter than your average media on youtube (other videos, the advertisements that play before my videos). I also primarily use headphones, and edit in headphones so if your ears are hurting I would suggest turning the volume down. That being said, I do occasionally add little ear rape bits throughout my videos, although rare, would constitute an R.I.P.

It's too bad that fable franchise didn't have levels of difficulty to choose from. It was a big downturn for me. Now, that I'm more experienced, just about any clothes there are or just none, I can manage the quests one way or another, and so it makes the game too easy... But having this or that sword or armor at some point in time, in the game, it's more about just feeling fancy and sort of an accomplishment, rather than plot progression or really big achievement... a bit disappointing, tbh

yeah the one cool thing about anniversary is that they added heroic mode on PC Still hardly much of a challenge, but a little bit more challenging. A difficulty setting mod would be cool I know there's at least one or 2 mods out there that make the game harder but multiple options would be nice

[C:/programs/]steam/steamapps/common/Fable The Lost Chapters I'm not sure where you have your steam directory saved, I assume programs or program files is the default location, but that is why I have "C:/Programs" in brackets. Anyways go to your steam folder wherever it is, and navigate to the Fable The Lost Chapters folder, and send that sucker to the recycle bin. Then open the steam client and download fable again

They are wired which is the best and most preferred for gaming. Stay away from wireless if you can. Wireless peripherals are more for portable laptops, or for casual home setups, like if you had your computer hooked up to the living room tv it would be worth considering a wireless mouse and keyboard for operating your computer remotely. Or in my case I also have a secondary wireless keyboard set for my racing seat so I don't have to stretch and lean forward to operate the game menus/etc. For your main mouse though definitely go wired

Bob Dodds any of the master weapons really Technically the master greatsword is the best at this point in the game, but without 3 physique you swing it very slowly Which is why I usually opt for the master longsword

How did you get fable on pc

Bob Dodds there are many ways The first way I played fable on PC was with a physical copy Had 4 disks and I lost disk 1 so I ended up having to torrent the game and use a cracked key etc. This would normally be illegal to pirate a game, but since I owned the game and still had the game it wasn't technically illegal in my case. Finally, the way I currently play fable on PC; it is available for download on steam, Fable TLC as well as Fable: Anniversary
