YESSS Destiny for sure looks cool and everything but most of the maps/scenarios are empty spaces wasted because they dont know how to take advantage of them. Look at the raids, they are awesome to play and watch. Look at other activities, the are some kind of good but in terrible places, the run from A to B is terrible because its an empty shell filled with enemied lol

Nathan Wtk Persona 5 had a lot of style with it's art direction. It's hard to explain if you haven't played it but Persona 5 definitely had one of the best UI design I've ever seen. However I'm still happy with Cuphead's win.

Studio MDHR stated that they own the Cuphead IP. Microsoft just helped funding it. The reason why Cuphead isn't in the PS4 (or in this case Switch) is because they appreciated the help. Oh, and there's not much great exclusives on Xbox One. I hope that Cuphead is a timed exclusive.

Yeah,no.Cuphead is a great homage to old cartoons.They aren't too many 2D games to justify a category.Horizon's art looks pretty much the same as any open world.Zelda I understand but still can't beat Persona or Cuphead.Now Persona 5 was great.Its style is absolutely great but I have to say Cuphead just deserved to win it.

c it's takes a lot more of hard work to create a 3d game, modelling, rigging, lighting, programming, texturing, lighting, animation, physic system and motion capture and so on. Its is why I am annoyed that a 2d side scroller, which uses a lot of animation loops was in the same category as horizon, Zelda, persona 5

INGSOC no, you're completely ignoring the size of the teams that do all the specialized things you speak of. There are teams dedicated to do each department in 3d games. Just because 3d games are composed of more complex parts doesn't mean it automatically requires more hard work. That hard work is distributed among more people.

I understand why Cuphead won, but personally I think Zelda had the better art direction. It had a really unique style with cell-shading, neon lights and ancient technology in a fantasy world. And it was also practical since they were able to make a massive open world game that still looked amazing despite the Switch's limited hardware.
