I am from Pakistan and have done my bachelor in English literature. I just want to ask that which country is best for me to teach English ? Currently I am thinking about Thailand but would love to hear ur suggestions too. Thank you

Hello! I would love to teach in Thailand. Thailand is great, but you should try to apply to any country that will accept you. Just take whatever opportunity you can get for now. Do for one year and see if you like the place you’re at. After a year you’ll have some experience and can go from there, but now you should go anywhere that will accept you. But be careful of any scams or traps. Make sure you research before going anywhere.

Great content man! Love it. Question: can you clarify salary amounts? Are the amounts you mention paid biweekly, monthly, or something else? Also, are these amounts after tax or net of (after) tax?

Darzab Thank you for the comment! So, for example let’s say the average English teacher salary is around ¥250,000 every month, that would be pre tax. So, tax could possibly be ¥10,000-15,000, also you have to pay for insurance plus pension. So, after everything you could be possibly be left with ¥200,000. There’s also many variables, but I’m just giving a rough estimate. Most companies pay for transportation too.
