I've used long suppressor on a couple guns over short because it's better for horizontal recoil at the cost of more vertical. I think the sg500 and p90 are some examples of this. SG550 short: 0.96V 1.22H SG 550 Long: 1.13V 1.11H difference equipping long +0.17V -0.11H p90 is even better P90 Short: 0.92V 1.66H P90 Long 1.08V 1.51H (+0.17V -0.15H)

I’ve been finding that suppressors seem more often than not to net me a higher kill game due to enemies not pin pointing my position (either though sound or muzzle flash), immediately after I pull the trigger. Admittedly I’m not great at Battlebit, but the suppressors give me the opportunity to kill an enemy and reposition before the sweaty bois pull my pants down. 🥳

Another instance where the Stabil Grip may come in handy is with guns that can benefit from the Double firing mode. Burst is usually bad, but on the L86 at least, Double is fantastic for extending range just ever so slightly further as it squeezes two shots out faster than tap firing with single or auto, making the spread smaller. The Stabil Grip can help with that first shot kick to extend it even further

Stubby grip is also a transitional one since its the first one to unlock Slap it on when unlocked for slight recoil improvement and change to the meta ones once you get them Plus sniper rifles dont need any grip but the urk for its reload speed

Another great use of the rangefinder is for the engineer class for sniping vehicles with the zoomed RPG ... or even sniping snipers with it to be honest. Another great video, thank you for your work !

@@tonomrwong Yeah, when I started playing and made my mission to destroy every vehicle I might found (I think they used to give more points than they do now), I was rocking the UMP45 with a rangefinder. It left some of my friends quite perplexed until I explained why.

It was pretty neat watching this video because I honestly came to many of the same conclusions you have with the exact same logic. I continued watching because I knew there was things to learn and there certainly were. My favorite AR in the game so far has been the AK74. Ive pretty much always ran the long barrel +vert grip, little slower on the ads side but an absolute laser, and like you said vertical recoil is much easier to control. Recently on CQB maps though, I've switched to heavy barrel with the URK grip, simply because of the small sacrifice to overall recoil, now with experience from using the vert grip setup I can still hit my shots well, and have great reload speed. This was an absolutely great breakdown of the attachments in game and almost in a way confirmed my own theories as to how they effect weapons in which way.

When discussing the heavy/long barrels, you didn't mention the FAL. The FAL has a 40 base damage which increases to 42 with the long barrel, which decreases BTK on medium armor by 1, and this is *insanely* useful. It makes it so the FAL 3 tap 80% of the people you see in game unless they have Exo or Heavy armor. Crazy.

Yeah I didn't mention the fal or AK15 in particular purely because I don't use this attachment on them, but I did mention that any weapons not shown will generally do better against armour with heavy/long barrel

100% agree, for players who need movement speed SE-5 seems to improve or not affect that stat for most guns. Im not sure though as I dont use every gun. then again thats like .01 it might not even be significant. Could be just me, using light or ranger armor plus a fast gun(movement stat) helps me survive longer as I can move from cover to cover faster and swing on opps.

Long barrel for AK15 is worth as well, as you go from 40 to 42 per shot. That makes it a 3 shot for most enemies, and a 2 shot to the head for everything except exo.

bipod eliminates scope sway, when deployed so its good imo for countersniping, watching windows and peeklines if you get there first

Really well-organized guide my man, also the editing effort was much appreciated, props ! Few things I would add (but I'm an average casual so take it with many grains of salt): - Stubby Grip is often a good starter for better handling, especially while working to unlock a better one; I also find it extremely good on bolt-actions if you're going for an aggressive playstyle, notably because of the Draw Speed increase. - Long Suppressor is much more interesting than its short counterpart when you're really looking to be SILENT. I often run it on snipers, again notably when I'm going for fast-paced, middle range sniping. - I'm surprised you didn't mention the AK15 and SCAR-H while discussing horizontal recoil, 2.1 is A LOT and I personally use the BCM and/or Flash Hider a lot on these two weapons. Flash Hider + Vertical Grip is my go-to build for them, it might sound like they cancel each other but the end result is equal values between horizontal and vertical recoil, which I believe to be a reasonable approach to recoil control (meaning your max kick limit is square-shaped, which I find easier to handle through reacting rather than anticipating, if that makes sense to anyone !) - Despise its unpopular damage decrease, the SON-762 is really interesting for its decent horizontal recoil improvement, and doesn't mess with vertical unlike the Flash Hider.

I use suppressor on everything unless a gun can greatly benefit from a long barrel then I'll use that, and for a grip, i am pretty much like everyone else, vertical, se5 or urk

feel like you should mention that if youre hitting body shots 31.5 is the breakpoint for most peoples armor like on the m4 g36 etc. It ends up making them feel a lot more reliable because it wont take the 5 shots important damage breakpoints 100, 112, 126, 144, exo 150 It feels like mostly people are running light and normal armors making 112 and 126 pretty important. If I see exo I just aim legs

IMO yes, hip fire feels different from one gun to the next due to the weapon models and lasers make switching weapons feel mode consistent.

It depends also on your playstyle. I generaly manage to win games for dumb dump teammates because i hide in bush with supressor on a road to a next objective. Most of time I MUST GET AS MUCH KILLS AS POSSIBLE playes are totaly usless as they just camp one objective or leave it instantly to get capped again, making you lose the game. Or a team of zerglings runs from A to B to C and D and turns araund, while behind i end up capping objectives with no resistance and if some1 shows up with a friend, my gun doesnt instantly give away the position so i can get 2-5 kills, before i get zerged XD

with the heavy and long barrel you should have brought up the ak15 and FAL, both of which maintain their 3 shot kill with normal armors if you get the long/heavy barrel

Yeah the reason I didnt is because in most use cases I found recoil attachments to be better, all I mentioned was that in any case apart from the ones I mentioned, it would make you gun better against armour

But we still don't know exactly how control or first shot kick works :P I would assume first shot kick doesn't act any differently for semi auto, it will be based on if the spread "reset" back to neutral yet. Because detecting a "held down button" in a networked game is really messy, and a bad implementation - coding it based on the spread reset universally covers all situations in the game. A lower kick should mean it is able to reset to neutral faster though, so it should help.

Ehh perhaps i missed something here Wong but ak74, aug a3 and hk419 all just get to 32.55 damage with long barrel or heavy barrel. that means they are still 1 headshot 2 body with or without the long barrel/heavy barrel at least in fire range.

theres only 1 or 2 attachments per gun that are even an upgrade. most of them make the gun worse in every way. how is a FLIR optic adding a serious chunk of "first shot kick" (this literally does not exist IRL) just by putting it on a gun? the sillyness that they have the ability to put the V A M B-762/S D N-6 762 on anything bigger than a 7.62mm gun (because thats literally what the 762 designates) or the N T-4 556 on anything bigger than a 5.56 which would cause a catastrophic failure and most likely awful horrible injuries to the shooter says alot about how much the devs know about guns. if im putting in the time to get the kills, EVERY SINGLE ATTACHMENT SHOULD BE AN UPGRADE OVER THE LAST. not some silly side grade that somehow lets you run faster or reload faster but totally borks your aim. if its not a direct upgrade to the last thing i earned then what am i even playing for.... the way they have everything statted is backwards, makes NO SENSE, and absolutely doesnt work for the game. (uhh its an "upgrade" so we gotta make it near unuseable) (oh this gun will do great damage at a decent range but were gonna make it near impossible to hit anything with it via stats because "balance") barrel attachments DO NOT increase velocity or damage... the powder charge in the shell casing or type of projectile used does that. only muzzle brakes and comps change felt recoil and it isnt by very much because most felt recoil is from the weight of the guns bolt moving back and forth aside from bolt actions with more power. one thing the devs got absolutely right is that the STARK SE-5 EXPRESS grip is great. because it is. its literally the most comfortable grip you can put on any gun. i know because i have one on my stribog sp9a1g2 and wouldnt change it for anything else out there. its that good. *LASERS BLIND FLIR OPTICS THIS IS SILLY AND UNREALISTIC BUT IT WORKS SO IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE IS A FLIR WHORE YOU CAN BASICALLY OWN THEM WITH A LASER* *THEREISAIDITNOWEVERYONEKNOWS*

you basically skipped search light and then explained why flashlight is great for blinding people which is funny because that's exactly what search light's meant to do it has less range that other flash lights but when you look at the person who's using it, they blinding effect is a lot larger.

Not using range finder means you never sniped / used rpgs to snipe, never used tandem rpg to hunt down vehicles Highly recommend trying these out to bring more variety into your gameplay

Yep I'd never want a range finder over the lasersight. You can easily learn the ranges after a tiny bit of getting used to the game. TBH I rarely even zero in on anything other than 50m too and just aim above if they're very far (also keeps your xhair out of the way and you can see the arc of the shot better to judge because you have more parallax on it).

i hope they mix up the attachment meta, just buff some of the really shit ones to have unique properties (much faster ADS, much better first shot kick, etc) tired of using the same attachments across multiple different guns (tac barrel, flash hider, suppressors, URK grip, vert grip, SE5) are pretty much all people use

muzzle break is garbage. on P90: muzzle break: +0.25 vertical -0.06 horizontal P90 flash hider: +0.33 vertical -0.30 horizontal = flash hider gives you 0.06 more vertical recoil for 0.24 less horizontal
