Does the mat smell chemicals? Or anything strong?

Not at all. The leather might smell I suppose but once open and aired out, there’s absolutely no smell! :)

What’s the difference between the color mat and the deluxe mat? It looks like they’re the same size but one is 40$ more

Hi! I believe it's grippier? I think the Color Mat is their bestseller with the Deluxe having some slight upgrades. I have the Color. I would email Wunderkids - they have great customer service!

It is not! It's faux leather so it's wipable. I don't find the need to machine wash this actually--it's very big :)
