I had a stillbirth this year in August and I looked up stories and videos of how to even cope, or how to trust God through this process. I just recently found your channel, almost a year into loosing Sofia, and I was surprise your channel never came up. But thinking back as to where I was mentally and emotionally I was not ready for this channel, God allowed me to find you at a time that I needed to see how God does have a plan and does wonders. All that to say, thank you for giving me joy, happiness and even a glimmer of hope in a moment where I felt like God wasn’t listening to me. Congrats on your pregnancy 🤍 and your new home. Ah, Cindi I'm so incredibly sorry to hear about losing Sofia. I'm in such a different place now than I was back in 2020 too, after I lost my Lucas. I actually didn't share on KZbin explicitly until a bit after. But God is so good, as you are saying, and there is so much hope even in the losses. Welcome to Calgary. Calgary is a city for people with family. The only downfall is water compare to Ontario. Mountains are all around. Banff is an hour a half away, but you can also go to places like Bragcreek. 30 mins if you are down south end of the city. Lots parks and playgroun ared everywhere for kids. There is also fishcreek park. People are friendly. You will grow to love he city.

I’m also a Christian and it’s so nice to hear someone talking about their faith on this platform on these topics. Great choice to move to the NW! It’s predominantly asians so there’s a sense of community plus a lot of kbbq restaurants are opening up here which is also a bonus

I'm moving to Calgary and leaving Toronto at the end of August for work and I still have so much anxiety. The fact of leaving my friends behind scares me because I have a large community of friends here. I really hope I'm not making a mistake

It's so hard leaving good friends behind... I hope you can find a good community in Calgary! But also Toronto isn't too far away and I don't think anything is ever that permanent! :) You (we!) can always move back haha.

There are a couple great lake communities, but unfortunately you do need to live in the community or know someone who does. But there’s also some great little streams/rivers where kids can hangout and play in the water!
