The mothers have such a low IQ They choose more brighter vibrant more easy to spot foals, So they feel like they're on top of everybody but when they're in a situation where they need to run they're basically screwed. Not to mention they're escaped Biotoys that spread like a wildfire and since they're not made to be in the wild they get killed off like background characters in anime.
