UPDATE (6/21/18): After full testing, the Minu is definitely my preferred compact. I'd steer away from the Traverze for now. Once again, these are just first impressions until I can get my hands on product to fully test and break down. I had twin boys this past May, and I was looking for a double stroller that’s compact and lightweight. I came across the Zoe XL1 Tandem stroller. I found it at zoestrollers.com. I haven’t got the stroller yet because its currently shipped. I’m excited about this stroller because you can detach the tandem seat and have the option in a single stroller if you want.

We originally fell in love with the 2018 vista. After trying it in store a few times and comparing it with our other option (Nuna Mixx2) I'm leaning towards the Nuna for how it handles. There's still a few months until our little girl is here but choosing a stroller had been the hardest thing for the baby... other than her name haha

Great video! Joolz definitely takes the cake with the Geo for me. one thing you forgot to mention about the Geo is that it's weight is partly due to the fact that it's build to convert to a double stroller. i've been eyeing Joolz for years and have been trying to get my hands on a Joolz Day 2 stroller, but its only available in Europe and Australia at the moment. amazing stroller that i;d like to see in north america sooner than later (baby coming in June lol)

We're getting the Cybex Balios S which is new for 2018 as well. I really like the design, their car seats are excellent and the price is much more affordable than a lot of the high end strollers. If you have that in the US it would be a cool review too :)

Did you get to play around with the ergo baby 180 with a car seat attached to it? Specifically will the handle still switch sides with a car seat and do you actually have to remove the canopy to use a car seat? I’ve tried finding that on my own but all the reviews I’ve found don’t touch on that topic (using it with a car seat and the adapter and folding it up with the adapter, etc.)

@aka61536 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I like the last two (Traverse and Air). But for us travel is all about weight, not size. So we opted for the Chicco Ohlala, which at 3,8kg is THE lightest stroller in the world afaik. And it’s not compromising on looks or recline or canopy or one-handed fold or anything else. It does not look spooky like some spider like backpack strollers. It’s completely normal without the weight, so I’d like to strongly recommend the Ohlala. We even use it parent facing with the Chicco Artis Softbag from birth and moved the canopy to the other side. Of course, I did thorough research on user experience before buying, but found no real objections from others either, which is rare for a stroller
@dadverb6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for that suggestion, I checked it out and it looks pretty sweet. I've noticed with some compacts that the lighter it is, it kind of sacrifices rigidity and durability. How does the Ohala hold up for you?
@aka61536 жыл бұрын
The Chicco Ohlala is a full stroller without sacrificing stability as much as more expensive brands like GB Pockit or Babyzen Yoyo. I test-drove them all. The thing is that the so-called travel strollers want to fold small, hence the dangerously tiny footprint (e.g. Yoyo) and many hinges (which bring up the weight and make folding the Pockit impossible). The Traverze even includes a telescoping handle on top of all the hinges - how does that help to keep the weight down or rigidity/durability up, I ask😊
@aka61536 жыл бұрын
With which compacts did you notice that problem?

What about the Bebetto, Anex, Bugaboo, and Inglesina strollers? ...European options. Here's my dilemma... My husband and I are car traveling across Europe for a couple years and I need a stroller that can do everything. I mean everything. All terrain, sleek, compact, lightish, but also 3or4 in 1. We plan on using the bassinet that comes with the stroller as the bed and rolling our baby up to our bedside each place we go. We also plan on using this stroller through toddler years, so we need it durable and height adjustable as we are both tall (our baby will most likely be a tall one). I have neck trouble and need something that isn't going to break my back. One handed folding options are awesome. Being able to forward and rear face is a must- preferably easily. This is THE purchase we are going to make for our travels with our baby, so we are willing to spend any amount ($2500ish or under). Have your come across anything that fits this bill? Ultra travelable? Have you reviewed the above mentioned strollers? Is there are European stroller expo in 2018 that we could go to? Thanks for your help!!! Love your videos!!!
@dadverb6 жыл бұрын
I bounced your question through a few friends and here's what we've concluded. That perfect stroller isn't in the market yet and you'll have to make a sacrifice on some features. In our opinion, your best options may be the the Diono Quantum 2 or Bugaboo Fox. Give those a look and let me know what you think. Regarding a Euro expo, the only one I'm aware of is Kind+Jugend which is in Germany later this year.
@emilykg6 жыл бұрын
Dad Verb Thank you so much for your reply!!! I will definitely check those out. Wouldn't it be awesome if the perfect stroller did exist!? Thats sounds great, thank you. I will look into that euro fair. Thanks again for getting back to me!

Personally have had around 12 strollers and I would say for a baby I’ll just go with snap and go ( using your carseat) for a toddler I like the maclaren ( wider than an umbrella stroller) and for jogging the jeep stroller with speakers and a lot of confort for tour little ones.

Great suggestion. It might be a moment until I can do that but have you checked out the Babyzen Yoyo? It's one of my favorite compacts and a bit less expensive than the Bee.
@kateivashova39646 жыл бұрын
Dad Verb - yes, Yoyo, Nano and other super compacts are very impressive. The main dilemma will be now - airplane overhead compartment vs canopy size. If stroller doesnt have sufficient sun/rain/wind coverage - it will make no sense to take it to travel.

I found that a lot of the strollers may seem to be folded so easily on video, but when you actually do it yourself, especially when you're in a hurry with a fussy baby, it may not be so easy. At least that's what I found with my Mountain Buggy nano
@dadverb6 жыл бұрын
With that Mountain Buggy I believe there are two steps to that fold-down which makes it a little more of a hassle. You first need to fold the canopy with both hands and then do the one-handed fold from the rear end of the seat right?
