I’m heading to Aurora, CO in a couple of days. You mind telling me of some good views to visit? Going with friends, and we wanna see off some good mountains. And maybe too 2 food recommendations!?? We’re driving from TX.

Well, on the way up you could check out Bishop's castle or go through the San Luis valley.. both are a little out of the way. San Luis valley has a gator farm, the sand dunes and zapata falls. Plus you will go through buena Vista on the way as well.. some old ghost towns, hot springs, and tall mountains to look at in that area.

If you don't want to go to far out of the way, check out the paint mines on the way up. I have a video called the strangest places in CO and it has, bishop's castle, paint mines, and a lot of the San Luis valley.

Sorry but you don’t even mention the San Juans which is widely considered the single best backpacking area in Colorado

That is weird. I thought I would have included one hike there. Maybe I was gate keeping. I know of 5 good backpacking routes in the San juans one I made myself, I know I put that one in its own video. Give me a year or 2 to explore some more, and see the less know areas, and I will make a video about the best places to backpack and not hold back.
