Not true, there's more to it than that. I was making that much about 4 or 5 years ago and they started me with a $9,000 credit card, then increased my limit to $17,600 just two years later.

US Bank is very conservative, especially on inquiries, much tougher than Chase's 5/24 Rule. Search for videos on this.

DO NOT ATTEMPT BALANCE TRANSFER ON IN-HOUSE CARDS. Example: if you want to balance transfer Capitol One card balance, use a different issuer like Wells Fargo/Bank of America/etc.

No experience, but my wife just received the offer in the mail. They’ll consider lowering your APR up until it reaches the promo rate, right now 8.5%. You’re not guaranteed for the lowered rate each year, and my wife typically has shitty luck with credit companies despite being a very smart spender

I don't know why it isn't mentioned is the balance transfer fees associated with the cards that have zero interest. I give Capitol One card for good credit that don't have them. Of course the cards that are for good credit aren't going to be recommended because they don't offer bonuses. This channel is more about those cards than the ones that don't. Even the cards with bonus have the transfer fee. I still have the C.O. Platinum card. It has no Balance Transfer Fee. Not mentioned in this video is the stigma that you need to transfer an entire balance to save on interest rates. This is so wrong. It can really help lower a statement balance on a card that is very high. I pay weekly payment on a $70-75 transfer. I have been doing this since July. Also by using the Platinum card for only balance tranfers it keep that active even though I don't make any purchases on it.

I have a 2 Capital One credit cards, and 2 American Express credit cards (plus like 5 more credit cards), Capital One gives me around $800 credit limit per card, and Amex is around $8000 per card, HUGE difference, I never use my Capital One cards anymore, and they have $0 annual fees so they're just parked for good lol.

Your credit will take the normal hard pull hit (unless you already have an AmEx and do it with a new AmEx card) and if you don’t clear the card by the time the 0% expires then they will usually hit you with the interest from the original balance

If the "Transfer Offer" is, however, "Restricted" to only use for other Credit Cards (Some are like this), you would be correct! However, If the Offer, comes with an option like Mine do, with my CIBC AEROPLAN VISA, to get "Convenience Cheques", and you requested them,you can used those for anything: Pay Down Debt, Investing, Travel, Buy a Boat, or maybe an Airplane, Of at for a Funeral, etc! And, they can be made out to yourself, Cashed, or Deposited, into a PLOC (Personal Line Of Credit), or into a HELOC (Home Equity Line Of Credit)!

It's really up to you if you want to close an account, but first look at your overall Credit History/remaining cards available. One thing to watch out for is wording that says if you have a balance transfer balance & THEN do a purchase on that same card, that purchase will TRIGGER INTEREST on both parts! Even if you payoff that purchase BEFORE BILL DROPS, that remaining balance transfer balance will still accrue interest, you will never be able to get back that Introductory 0% APR.
