I got the S2 as my first thermal from you, figured I can use it as a scanner when I decide to get better. Now that S6 is the next logical step, I love the 2x compared to starting with 3x on the S2. Still the S2 is great for what it is.

I just got into thermal . I bought mine from ATN and it is 256 both scope and monocular . The scope was $1300 and the Blaze seeker was a bit over $600 . They are not as clear as the higher 640 and even 320 , but at 900 yds. I can tell a hog from a dog or a cow with no problem . I bought a 4 to 12 scope and found it was 3 to 9 took it back to the Houston ATN store and they handed me a new one and a bag full of goodies also . They were great folks to work with . Maybe later I will look into a 640 but for now I bought the best I could afford and am very happy it's a big step up from my old IR with light . You all have a blessed one and stay safe out there hunting .

@@LoneStarBoars They have a brick and mortar store where I traded in my X-scope and they gave me everything I payed for it toward the Thor that was less than half what the brand you are pushing cost that till today I never heard of . I said I was just getting started . When I had a problem with the first one I went back and they handed me a bran new one and let me keep the battery pack stock pouch and scope cover then gave me a new set of electronic earmuffs and and thermal targets with a t-shirt and two hats . And answer the phone when you call with questions . This was all at the Houston store who have treated me like royalty . Did I mention it was less than half the price of the brand you push that till today I never heard of . And was still less after I went back and bought a thermal monocular was still only $1800 and scope rings . You have the manners of the hogs you hunt and have guaranteed I will never visit your site again even if you were giving away those no name scopes your pushing . Have a blessed day my rude friend .

I bought a pulsar thermion about a year ago. It’s there lowest cost scope. I paid 2200 for it and at PSA they have them on sale now for 1799. I could not be happier with it. The image is great, battery life is incredible, 10 plus hours. It comes with two batteries. Take a look at the lower cost Pulsar, made in Europe, not China and has a 3 years warranty!

I’d have to see it and compare it in person at night to be convinced. Sounds great but I hesitate with budget priced items - I like great clarity and I don’t mind paying for it. Lost me at “Chinese made.” No can do.

The fact it takes 18650's is awesome i do not like proprietary batteries or having to lug around a battery bank being able to swap out batteries in the field for me is one of the most important features i do like agm products but wont be buying any of the new v2 stuff that proprietary battery

I’m not sure how many hours . I hunted with it this weekend Friday and Saturday nights from 10pm to 6am both nights on one battery. But I only turn my scopes on when it is time to shoot. It comes with two batteries and extras are cheap.

Been looking for just this video, what would be best for coyotes in open fields? With a budget of around $3500 the l6 lrf was peaking my interest, any thoughts?
@LoneStarBoars
@LoneStarBoars 23 күн бұрын
For longer range shots I would go with the Leap 6. The storm 6 is a 2x it’s great inside 150 yards but the Leap with its ocular zoom will give you more at ranges typical for coyote hunting.
