Thanks again for doing these tests! I enjoy seeing my favorite, the 82CS34 just killing it. One note tho, you seem to have forgotten about using nominal voltage for calculating watt-hours. The two Greenworks saws are both 72V nominal so the 4Ah battery is 288 Wh, the 5Ah is 360 Wh.

I used the wh listed by the manufacturer, but if you look hard enough, you can find different numbers in different places...🤷♂️. I tried talking a local shop into letting me "borrow" or rent a 540i xp, but no dice.

Thanks. I thought that GC had already been chastised and fixed it in their website, but I see today it's still wrong. I wrote a detailed message again on the Greenworks Commercial Owners Group (Facebook group). What's bizarre is that they actually call it "Max Watt Hours" altho that's a meaningless term because, as you have even shown clearly in a video, battery voltage can start as high as the marketing "maximum" of 80/82V but steadily decreases toward the nominal voltage of 72V over a single use.

Echo DCS-5000 is "56V", nominally 54V, so 5 Ah is 270 Wh Husqvarna 350i is only "40V", nominally 36V, so 7.5 Ah is also 270 Wh

I think my question is while watching this video is if you had to go cut a tree down which one of these saws would you grab?
@reusefullАй бұрын
Depends on the tree, but the 82CS34 for the most part.
