I'm quite enjoying this series Claus. Being a retired oldie myself (knackered old shit) with a iMAC, 11 years playing the game, I can only afford to play lower and middle range tiers, and my computer can't handle the graphics of higher tiers very well any way. Not keen on the KV1 personally, killed a few in my time in game, got killed by a few as well! That last game awarded you 24 hours premium account, so all was not lost btw!!!!

I think the M3 Stuart is best beginner tank, especially when you make 1/3 of your ammo APCR. Is great fun. Can learn a lot from the tank making moat of 2 equipment slots, speeding around maps, making use of hiding spots. KV-1 is second best it being slower, having more armor, very different guns, good intro to higher tiers

Binoculars are better than vents or turbo or rammer in lower tiers or any other piece of equipment you can mount, unless you get to like 450m view range with optics, which is rare at tier 5.

You talked about changing the size of the maps depending of the tier. I’ve been thinking along time WOT should decrease all the stats on all the tanks with for example 10 percent. I would make every game and tank closer. And it’s a really easy thing to do. The op tanks will have a bigger decrease than lesser tanks. The problem as I see it is that some tanks and players are too good to be fun.

I 3-marked the KV-1S. When they moved it to tier VI to face Tier VIII premiums, I retired it. I then moved that crew to this tank and 3-marked it.

@@stephenkutrip6226 It used to be tier 6 but with a broken gun then it got moved to tier 5 and become the best derpster then they moved it again to tier 6 and got ruined. I miss old wot with derp guns and low hp pools in low tier and mid tiers. Now is not a game worth playing.

At top tier the KV1 can be a game changer, I love to take it out of the garage once in a while, anything to steer clear of tier 9 & 10. Interestingly you will eventually get killed by a tier 10. It looked to at the end of the third game that WG programming chose to give the leaf lower a good hit, high damage roll to get the game finished, freeing up server resource. It would be interesting to know if WG have a ‘pay what you use’ arrangement with a server centre…

The KV-1 was probably the most fun I had in a non-prenerf-SPG I have ever played. Back in beta the KV1 was a blast. Been a while, should give it another go for old time sakes. I wish WOT would create a BETA style server (like WoW classic) so people could experience what that was like.

KV1 and T150 KV1 has very good armor on the turret . keep only the turret out . countering KV1 . do not shoot in the turret . shoot in the lower body . T150 has good armor . but is the gun that rules . best games and best fun i had .
