For the more mechanically inclined, the cheapest route into a new 4-5 gpm machine is to buy the 420cc motor and pump separately and put them together yourself. You're looking at about $600 for your motor+pump. You don't get a crappy hose and gun that you'll replace anyway, so it opens up your budget to start with all nicer stuff by saving $300 over harbor freight up to $600 for a simpson or similar from HD or Lowe's.

Very helpful. I heard AAA pumps are very unreliable, and the ones in the amazon links look like AAA...though they have a 3 year warranty which is pretty good
