Comment from my Older homie Tommy from S.D.: I’ve had the bike for about 8 months, it’s a really good wheelie bike but you have to swap out the handlebars, tall & wider (however you prefer,) it’s gets off curbs and jumps really well for a 29• bunny hops with ease for a 29’ Not a fan of that particular seat release design since been having the post not secure for my desired. I have the Sunday 2023 HIgh C in Watermelon green just like you showed.. i love the 27 13 Gear ratio combined with the 29 inch tires it feels great. Downside NO FLIP FLOP HUB. It gets up and stays up just fine. When riding my buddys SE theres a definite difference in feeling due to the gearing but not in a bad way. I enjoy the bicycle and got mine for 629.99. Not a bad deal.

I got 2 Sunday bikes, The first one I changed the gear ratio 30/15 and the other I left it stock. But I got no problem wheeling them they solid.

The small ratio on High C (billiard green) is fun out the box, easy to pedal around without much effort but switched up to 32/15 Rideout supply sprocket and freewheel for more speed. The new freewheel makes it coast faster. The crank arm stripped out because I accidentally didnt tighten a pedal and I switched from 175mm to 180mm arms but will probably go back. To add: white mags with Paul long pull brake lever, better seat post and maybe a disc. The quick release seat is finicky if you weigh over 180. Raceface yellow pedals are same shade as Maxxis logo on tires.

I got the Crew 29er & love its looks. It rides ok, but I don't really have a comparison since my last BMX bike was an 87 Haro Master 20". Don't like the nobby factory tires, they're next on my upgrade list. It's $340 at city grounds now which makes upgrading it a lot more affordable.

I have a sunday high c with 33-16. It will not fit a 34 tooth. Brakes are magura hydro and covid s&m rims. I love the bike. Its short chainstay was a good selling point for me and sunday makes quality bikes. This bike is super slept on and you should add one to the collection.

Since the average height is 5”9 I recommend a 27.5 for wheelie combos. A 29 is too big for combos. You can also get a 26 which is easier for combos. I don’t recommend anything lower because it is not considered a good wheelie bike.

Yes might wanna change that up to a 33/15 or 33/16 or 36/16

A 36/18 is a lower gear ratio (easier to pedal) than 33/15, 33/16, and 36/16. To do the math simply divide the larger number by the smaller number. The lower the number the lower the gear is. Example: 36/18=2 and 33/16=2.06. The "2" is less than "2.06". This means a "2" will be easier to pedal and easier to wheelie.

I've owned and sold a crew,3 Gt performers, a Sunday hi-c, and a haro rs-2 29 (not a pistol pete but a 29 haro still) The Sunday and the haro have a single sided hub no flip flop so can't do a dic conversion The GTs were pretty great rode a 2019 performer for 3 years the newer ones have much cheaper components(bottom bracket and cranks) The quick release on the Sunday was junk homie swaped it out also changed the freewheel to a 15 for wheelies The crew is a good looking bike but has very cheap components I buy every budget bike I see for sale to put another rider on to grow the scene in toledo OH so I've had 13 bikes in 3 years
