What? IP44? That means it isn’t safe from dust. For something that will be outside close to the road a lot. Also, it takes 1 second to cut the cable. Why would the thief care about the noise? The lock is already open. They just need to leave with the bike. I’d recommend a good quality D lock instead. Though I do like the alarm idea. So maybe that can be implemented in a better lock.

Yup nothing is full proof. But with a alarm, if you hear it you have a chance to stop them. But you are right a D lock with a alarm would be great.

Does this lock notify you on your phone when youre a block away from your bike?

No I don’t think it will work that far. If you are within Bluetooth range then it will, and that’s about 40 feet.
