I’m trying to start streaming on my ps5 and I have it connected to a odyssey monitor i still don’t know what laptop to get to get some good quality streams I was looking into the legion pro 5i gen 9 what do you think about that or would these laptops you mentioned work better ?

The Legion Pro 5i Gen 9 would be a good choice. Keep in mind that to stream your PS5 from your laptop you need a capture card such as the Elgato HD60 X with chat link cable I linked below. I think I fixed the links now. But the $2800 Legion Pro 7i Gen 9 could be considered overkill if you are playing on a PS5 using the laptop just to stream it. But if you ever wanted to game and stream from the $2800 Legion Pro 7i Gen 9 itself it should be capable. But desktops will always be better ultimately for that sort of thing. My personal recommendation would be to get the $1827 ASUS laptop I linked along with the capture card and chat link. That will cost about $900 less or so and you will still have a great laptop and be able to easily connect your PS5 and stream it from the laptop. I'd say the GPU is most important to streaming because it be best for encoding. Followed by CPU and RAM in my opinion.
