For sure, call quality also relies on cell signal, the phone etc. This test seems like a great way to isolate away those variables helps and also helps with people doing Zoom and Teams type meetings

In my experience, the noise cancellation on the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is exceptional. Whether I’m in a busy café or walking down a noisy street, they do a great job of cutting out background noise, allowing me to fully enjoy my music or focus on a podcast. The ability to switch to ambient mode is also a game-changer, letting me stay aware of my surroundings when needed. Those are good, but on this video I just tested the microphone. I have done some tests for its ANC, and while is good, there's still some improvements to be made in order to be at the level of the Bose QC Ultra for example.

Great review. On voice calls, what I have noticed is that high pitch noise like glasses, plates, etc. at restaurants are picked up way too much and unusable. Not sure what others have experienced.

I think Nothing Ear is the clearest and the loudest though, if you watch other reviews with real outdoor noises the AirPods and pixelbuds got so little gain while nothing ear remains consistent.

good video, of course all this is subjective but this is the only way to test them before buying. It would be useful to hear them outside with traffic and all. I saw a girl talking using some earbuds and with a low voice in the subway. Now with all that noise the counterpart was hearing her otherwise she wouldn't talk. Didn't know what earbuds were they (seemed like airpods white model) but they were good. Should have been asked her 😀

to me it seemed like the galaxy pro 3 had the best overall by far, and then maybe the airpods pro 2 and the galaxy buds 2 pro come in 2nd cause I think galaxy buds 2 had the best call quality w no noise out of them all but had no real background noise dampening (although idc), but the apple airpods had p good quality and especially good background reduction

I completely disagree with your ranking - there is some clear bias towards popularity. The nothing clearly has the best quality when there is background. The airpods, pixel and Sony WF-1000XM5 all sounded really bad. I have returned the airpods for this EXACT reason, and bought nothing. Now i am returning the Nothing for other reasons (they basically broke).

Sony wins imo . Most clear voice, and acceptable noise reduction. Huawei are the best in noise reduction, but voice is less acceptable than Sony. Apple.... No.

Firstly, I must say that I disagree with most of your rankings; this is simply my personal opinion. Secondly, your review lacks standardization and originality. You should present unedited audio gains and allow the viewers to form their own judgments, rather than adding gain and later providing reasons for not favoring a particular sound quality. Your review may mislead users because an unedited quality review would let the viewer appreciate the original loudness of the sound. Furthermore, the naturalness of the sound should also significantly influence the scoring. For instance, Huawei may eliminate noise completely, but the result is a robotic sound. Would you prefer something like that? Thank you.

I have the Pixel Buds Pro, and the call quality has been very disappointing. Even at maximum volume, the sound is too low. Despite my expectations, there’s been no improvement, which is truly underwhelming.
