Thanks Fitz, went with this dry filter, the torque is well improved at lower hp levels. Just have a CSF high performance radiator, vrsf high performance intercooler and the charge pipes installed after watching your videos. After adding this filter, my engine seems happier with the increased air flow and def see an improvement. Thanks for your videos!

@@Misohn definitely do it, my car seems much quieter at lower speeds, the Throttle response is quick and maintaining hw speeds I barely touch it. Drive 200m on hw and still had more than half a tank left. Definitely makes it more efficient than the oem filter.

Fritz your teaching me so much about my new car. Have you noticed any water getting in the air box from the scoop. Like during heavy rains or washing?

I just took a look and I didn't notice any water streaks along the scoop. I'm also sure that if there was some water (it shouldn't be that much) that got through during heavy rain it would get soaked up by the filter.

A mechanic mentioned a flap it the bottom intake box pointing down he wasn’t able to figure out what and why it’s there I personally have not seen it

I've got the carbon fiber AFE sealed one in my F80zcp. I love it. It's pretty much like a carbon fiber better flowing stock exhaust. That with my Active Autoworks catless downpipes single mid and madmax exhaust really sing.

Definitely recommend a downpipe upgrade or a BM3 Stage 1/2 tune! Also wanted to ask how you got the gear switcher notifier when you’re in Sport+ mode.. mine only shows in Comfort!

I personally think all intake for the f series n55 is a waste of money. Just buy the m2 bottom air intake box and you will notice right away the difference it make in IAT.

Is there any difference in quality and quantity where the air comes from? my M240i takes in air from the wheel well area where yours is from the grill area. Your grill cover for your intake tube is open where mine is blanked
