@@BoxedMeeples, oh wow, that's a great question. Well, if you like campaign games and think you'd want to play through the full campaign in Stalingrad, it's the choice. Otherwise, I'd go with North Africa is you enjoy extremely asymmetric gameplay or Normandy if you want the sides to feel more similar.

Great video! Have not tried either game but would to try both! Have mostly played Pandemic Legacy season 0(very fun) and got to play some Racko and Spots😊

We got to July in Pandemic Zero but then the couple we were playing with had a baby, so we had to abandon Coop ! From what we had played through it was lots of fun

We have played spots on bga loads, but yet to get a physical copy. Love the rules for that game.... Dogs have Spots Dice have spots.... put the dice spots on the dog spots

@@BoxedMeeples we just played September (PS0) and lost for the first time. It is getting very intense! Just started playing Spots and I really like it. But have only played it at two. I think it will be an even better at a higher player count! 😊

Thanks Billy, we are having a wonderful time, Mauritius is beautiful and we are enjoying exploring the island Ooh we will have to try Stupor Mundai out. As you know we both love Scythe. Mosaic has been on Libby's radar - what's you thoughts on it - other than great hehe

@@BoxedMeeples Mosaic looks like a dudes on a map battle royal, and there is a stronger emphasis on this in the Wars and Disasters expansion. However, the base game has the area majority element, but you can earn a lot of points by collecting tags on the technologies and finding multipliers in the buildings. I like the puzzle of finding those cards that synergize and being able to compete well without having to focus on the map control and battle element.

been stuck on Imperium Horizons

We have been trying out the Imperium games (you may have seen them on our shelf), but quite a learning curve. There are so many factions to pick from. Any tips ?

@@BoxedMeeples Check the instructions with all the details of the Civs and start off with the easiest. Play them a few times and you will see a pattern or a concept how the Civ works. Every Civ is different but Horizons in gerneral is harder then legends/classics This game requires to be played many times and invested. It's not a game you play once and put it on your self display making your collection look good.

He has learned the error of his ways now! So much so, that we added it to our wedding list and have been kindly gifted it by a couple of our gaming friends 😀 To be fair, we had only played it in person once a few years ago prior to this, the teach back then was not great (one of those games when you find out about rules when the teacher starts scoring massively for something! Haha)
