Best Board Games for Big Groups (Top 10)

Massive fan of Saboteur2 for a large group. might be one of the most fun games I've played that's simple enough for folks who aren't super into boardgames, but with enough strategy to keep it interesting, and super interactive with each other.

Thanks for the video. Never heard of #1 so now on a quest to hunt it down! For latge groups we played conversational games a lot, like Sounds Fishy, wavelength. We also merge two copies of Charmeleon. Saboteur and 6 nimmt both accomdate 10 players IIRC. Tumblin' Dice is the best large group dexterity game we had ever played.

@@JestaThaRogue I'd recommend it if you could get a copy. We house rule it that if dice land on a borderline the score doubles, also we play 4 rounds - left hand throw, right hand throw, flick, and eyes closed. Bought a full pack of extra dice and play with like 15-16 people at a time, absolute carnage 🤣

I've been wanting to try #2 for ages!! Blood on the Clocktower is another brilliant one but better with at least 8+

#2 is very fun. :) My experience of Blood on the Clocktower has been ruined by experienced players making new players play a certain way. Took the fun out of it for me. Still won both games :D

I don't own it, but I used to play games of Shadow Hunters for hours at Uni. It did take too long, so I threw in a house rule whereby you would draw two items and give one to another player at the location. It just meant that more items, more information and Bob actually stood a chance at winning.

Already a massive The Resistance fan, need to try #7. Cant believe #4 is that high, the one round is all aspect of it just doesnt hit the same for me. #2 looks very interesting but not sure i can get that big of a group consistently. Gonna spring #7 on my friends this Friday if it arrives in time lol

Shadow Hunters is currently out of print, I believe, but it has been reissued as Fangs. I honestly prefer the original Shadow Hunters, as Fangs has made some changes that give the players less agency, but it's still a good time.
