I do have a question though and I'm not able to find the answer explicitly in the instructions. during a standard combat round do we roll the survivor die ONLY when performing a melee attack or do we also roll it when performing a ranged attack? what's your interpretation?

Um jogo que tinha tudo pra ser bonito e bem representado, aí inventam de criar um jogo preto e branco. Isso pra mim foi o que estragou o jogo, The Last Of Us não combina e nem deveria ter sido criado desse jeito. Muito mal gosto do criador, espero que não venha para o Brasil.

Great video - been playing TM for ages, and it's a good, quick intro to the differences. Only problem with it (and this really only applies to someone coming to this without having played TM/GP) is you never mention the tools cost for terraforming. It gets touched on with the Upgrade Terraforming action, but only to say that it makes that cheaper, but the actual Terraform & Build action never mentions it.

I'm very excited about Altay, got it preordered. And I love Kyoto No Neko - will be playing that with my nephews :)

We like to choose the masterworks each time! But with the requirements face down, so people just choose what appeals to them, since no one generally remembers the exact details of each masterwork. Also we like to get creative with the minis, I have had adventures where I had a female research couple "who were roommates" :) just to make it a bit more personal. Love the tutorial, will be sending this to friends who I will play this with!

When choosing the three cards to reveal at the merchant from reward cards do you pick whether you reveal from the rare or from the regular. How do you get the opportunity to purchase a rare card while at the merchant do you shuffle up both rewards draw at random and then separate once you're done

received my copy with minis in new zealand yesterday. Astounding they could not just be honest with us effectively investors instead of relying on spin and gambles. It's not that things can go wrong but how we respond that counts. Loved your video though. thank you for holding them to account.

I've house ruled playing the announcement cards facedown. Makes the game more tense and the enemy much less predictable, which to me is fun. It does make the game harder, but I think it's worth it for the extra immersion.

Same happened to me with Red Joker and their campaign for Cyber Odyssey. They even stopped posting updates, no reply to comments and messages. No to Red Joker.

Both cute and interesting gameplay, that's how you make a game. ONLY thing, Im afraid there will be close to none interaktivity between players..

Well said. I backed the base game with minis as part of the African campaign. It's not so much that the kickstarter failed and I lost my money - you do take that risk with kickstarter, What irks is the lack of communication - the outright lies and complete disrespect of backers - together with a business practice that seems to have been little more than a ponzi scheme. Seeing them still in business and having a stall at Essen this year rubbed salt in the wound. I know I will never receive my game. I know the company's statements to the contrary are flagrant lies. We move on - but I sincerely hope these guys are not allowed to succeed with any other game. Thanks for the information about his new company - to be avoided by all.

Don't read this if you backed the game: I saw the token version on Amazon last week for $15... Shipped in a day. Highly suspicious to get a game that cheap. I was not aware of all the drama behind this game: any idea what is going on with that?

Really nice video and explanation! A small note though at 4m14 you say "may have cards from a previous turn" and you draw 5 on top of that. But on page 12 of the rulebook it is stated you always discard the rest of your hand after a turn, so you never have more than 5 cards. This also happens in the videogame.
