At t8 the ones that are worth it imo: T34-3 is amazing simply, patriot, kv5 for memes. The guard is frustrating to play bc it has a gun that is accurate on paper but its not that good really. The chieftain is frickin terrible avoid it unless you are a masochist. Of the 3 similar heavies. Defender has best armor but its not pref mm, and the gun is disgusting. The is6 is a good alternative. T9 only mm, quite good armor, but its held back by 225 gold pen. But it has one of the best dpm of any 390 alpha heavy so you can bruteforce basically anything. The alpine tiger is a little faster, has better view range and 250 heat. But it gives up a lot of armor for it. Its a matter of taste, i personally prefer is6. The Chrysler... Its awesome against t8, but the moment something has like 300 pen, you are done. It has garbage pen, low alpha. Its like an is6 but without the pref mm. You will struggle against t9-10. The lorraine is well, obsolete. Its gun is terrible(ah sa47 my beloved, im sure everyone had to endure this gun at least once in their wot career, its terrible) The thing is basically a school bus fighting tanks. Its big, stupid and every time they hit you something breaks. Its the french car experience basically in wot. The mutz is okay, the m46 is a worse m26 wich is already a bad tank. Liberte is obsolete too, same good old sa47 in all its glory. Its unreliable, has bad dpm. If an is6 wants to hold W on you you cant do anything about it. Even if you start with a shot advantage he will just outdpm you. Also there is el tumor on top wich doesnt help bc its so offensively large everything will hit it. Is5 is stock T-10 at t8 with a worse gun, if you want to suffer play stock T-10 instead, its still better. I never touched the kv4 but i heard its garbage. But if you want to play the worst the tank you can buy for free, look no further than the chiefturd. Its slow, gun is bad, has no armor, el tumor is bigger than ever, for some reason it even has poor pen. Also it has comparable stock camo to some heavy tanks like 277 or is6. No contest its the worst tank i ever touched. The moment something enters the render distance, you are spotted, you die instantly bc it has no armor. Trust me its not very fun. Its like the patton tank but actually worse

Patriot got a pretty big buff not long ago. It's quite a bit faster and more accurate now, helped it a bit IMO.

Alpine Tiger is a skinned WZ-111 not a 112. It's sadly lacking in armour but still gets preferential matchmaking so good in that respect. It's worth a lot in gold so it's good for the trade-in event

I've bought about three Alpine Tigers over the years purely so I can trade them in for 5500 gold pieces

depends what you want. 252 makes you credits, 121b is fun but costs you credits

Yeahhh either you choose between 252u for credits if you don't have many T8 prems I'd go for that or the 121b which will loose you a lot of credits but is fun

My guess: Defender, t103, 121b I would argue that the Liberte is good for 8k. Recently the gun got buffed so its actually an enjoyable tank to play. You should give it another go. Also alpine Tiger is a skinned wz-111 so its shit

Meh i feel Alpine Tiger isn't that bad at all. There are definitely worse. Liberte i have played since the buff but its still too slow and its armour too unreliable for a brawling heavy tank

I see below in some of the comments about game costs and I think it's important to users to know they are getting a top tank but you will pay for using it in game with credits. The comparison between the 252U and the 121B. Credit gains vs fun and credit loss. thanks for the video.

I use kv-4 kr. and it’s pretty fun. I think you underestimate it’s gun. It has good accuracy and very nice gold pen.

KV-4 kreslavsky absolute legend 10/10 that will trash Frontline and oneshot ram tier 10's with turbo setup, WZ-114 worth it if you have full bond setup for it with directives!

Bro are you high? Recommending trash like defender (slow, bad dpm, even worse gun stats, no depression, armor that even bots pen now) while saying tanks like patriot or liberte are outdated (both were buffed recently)? Did you even play these? They will eat defender alive 9/10 times. FFS don't listen to this guy, I have all three tanks and 252u is painful to play nowadays.

I have played both since they have been buffed. Yeah they're still both absolutely irrelevant and way worse than a 252u. If you're getting wrecked in your defender I'm sorry but that's a skill issue. Yes it will be penned but not every time. Its speed and dpm are irrelevant as you can play around those aspects. It's gun handling is manageable and really not that bad especially if you use the right equipment...

@@tanks_with_wings Just stop lying. Defender makes craps like 56tp look very decent. It was borderline op like 7 years ago, now it just xp pinata for enemy team due to power creep. In current mm you see tiers 9 & 10 most of the time and gold ammo is everywhere, which makes defender's armor useless and it's all this tank really has to offer. Even worst players know already to shoot hatches or lower plate that is huge. If you're not point blank range, gun hits nothing. You can make it less miserable (from god awful level to simply bad level) with equipment but then you can't use turbo or hardening. As for two mentioned tanks: patriot is a little monster tank now (except for alpha damage), it is fast, gun has good stats and 10° of depression, good turret armor, dpm, and is a great credit earner due to low ammo cost. Liberte (if hatch is covered by gun or obstacle) has great frontal armor (250mm at weakest point, lower front plate is even thicker than ufp), when you dont angle you are pretty much safe from tier 8s and lower. Gun is decent enough. Paying 9k bonds for 252u is one of the greatest jokes WG manged to make ever.

str81 is a centurion wich is completely outdated, no idea what ure talking about lol. also dont talk shit about PZ4 Hydro, its one of the most fun T5 tanks i tried. decent fast firing gun, rather agile as well.
