@Meraki Irenic false, company do check what degree you have. I am a BCA student, which is actually a computer science related degree, still many companies has the criteria of btech or MCA. I have to go for mca now if I want to do good in my career. I am not saying you wont get job and shit, but you might have to face some difficulties. Now a days I have seen many people saying that you need skills for the job not the degree, which I believe should be case but thats not how it is. They just straight away reject me because of my degree and the reason they give is "You are not qualified", I am talking about the freshers level job here. Still some(actually many) companies are there who just care about the skills, thats how i got the job.(after applying for 60+ companies on linkedin) conclusion: you can get jobs if you have skills, but having a degree just makes you eligible for every shit out there.

First learn the language dude. After mastering the language, then start DSA. PRACTICE THE LANGUAGE FOR ONE MONTH AND THEN MOVE TO DSA
